really good motherboard, only down side in my opinion is the price
One of the only AM5 B650M boards that has both optical and line outs. Has plenty of other I/O as well. Shipped version was 1.2, not the latest 1.3. BIOS as shipped was FB. Installed easily into Thermaltake Tower T200 case. My first gigabyte board in years, been ASUS for past 10y. The gigabyte BIOS was easy to navigate and understand. Updated to latest BIOS, changed to EXPO settings on my RAM, everything just works.
Just finished a new build using the Aorus B650 Elite AX ICE coupled with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe, Corsair Vengeance RGB White 32GB 6000MHz DDR5, NZXT H6 Flow White Compact Dual-Chamber Tempered Glass PC Case, Thermaltake 360mm TH360 V2 ARGB Sync Snow All In One CPU Water Cooler, Corsair RM1000x 1000 Watt Fully Modular 80+ Gold PSU/Power Supply. The GPU is the MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16GB GAMING X SLIM WHITE. All running lovely and it's perfect for playing solitaire! Seriously though it was a joy to build, SCAN UK were really helpful as I ran into some issues of my own making which they quickly resolved.
You may need a BIOS update before using it, as in my case, but otherwise no problems, excellent quality and very easy to install.
