First off, shipping was very quick, and GPU was well packaged, NZ post could have drop kicked the package onto my doorstep and it would have been in perfect condition. Well done.Second, the gpu it's self is great, pairs well with my Ryzen 5 3600 and 48gb DDR4. It's very efficient, using less power then my old gtx1060 6gb while also out performing the gtx. It's quieter as well, just for an added bonus

I switched over from a GTX 1660 to this card and the uplift in performance was impressive. RT performance went from literally unusable to bearable, games that ran okay run much better at the same settings, and the triple-fan design, while maybe a little impractical, keeps it dead quiet even in intense loads. And all of these performance gains are achieved with a TDP only 7 watts higher than my prior card; any mid-range system will likely power this thing without issue.I've yet to encounter any big driver issues in my 2 months of ownership (even the experimental drivers have had few issues) and Radeon Software works better IME than GeForce Experience ever did in my 5 years of using it prior to going AMD. Granted there aren't that many killer features, but it does ... MoreI switched over from a GTX 1660 to this card and the uplift in performance was impressive. Granted there aren't that many killer features, but it does its job well. With recent price reductions, and the fairly lean power requirements by today's standards, it's a no-brainer for 1080p gaming. Despite it's three-fan cooler, the card is light enough that sag is a non-issue, too. I'm extremely happy with this card overall.

Thanks to Microcenter, I was able to pick up a Radeon RX 6600 XT for MSRP on launch day. They had dozens of them midday, so no waiting in line. I just stopped in for a CPU, and came out with a solid midrange graphics card. The 6600xt easily handles 1080 gaming with max graphics, and often high performance. At 1440p, this card is actually viable as well. For anybody who needs a new graphics card, but can't pay for high prices on high-end cards, this one is easier to find and often closer to MSRP.Gigabyte's triple fan cooling solution keeps my card under 80c even after long gaming sessions, which is what I'd expect from a reliable cooling system. If there wasn't a shortage, $380 might be steep. As of April 2022, I would say this is the best option for 1080p gaming. I tested 3 games, Forza horizon 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Valorant. First off, I tested Forza horizon 4 which got a 177fps average at 1080p ultra settings. In Horzion Zero dawn, I got 78fps average at 1080p ultra settings. Finally, in Valorant, I got a whopping 430fps average at 1080p maximum settings. Overall the performance is great and based on other peoples benchmarks, this card will do 1080p 60fps high-ultra settings in every game easy. Plus with FSR you can get better fps and it looks pretty good especially on my native 1080p monitor. Plus during all the benchmarks the card never went above 66 degrees Celsius which is nice considering my last card was much worse. Plus with FSR you can get better fps and it looks pretty good especially on my native 1080p monitor. Plus during all the benchmarks the card never went above 66 degrees Celsius which is nice considering my last card was much worse. Power consumption was also great, I can power my entire system ( i5 12400, Rx 6600, 16gb ram) with a 500w (which is recommended) without any issues. This is great considering the 3060 recommends at least a 600w power supply and the 3050 recommends a 550w power supply. Finally, this card came in at only $369 compared to the 3060s $500 or more. Just make sure to spend a maximum of $400 on this thing.
For modern gaming at 1080p this card hits the mark. No it’s not a high-end GPU but that is not its purpose – with that said IF you can get a 6600XT at near this listed $429 the nonXT variant is a pass. I own a 6600xt as well as this Eagle (6600) and the XT is a better proposition in every way especially if you are overclocking/undervolting. (FYI) The nonXT eagle will crash almost immediately if you select “enable fast memory timings” in the radeon software…This card however (eagle nonXT) is very power efficient, runs cool, quiet and gets the job done. Overall it filled a need at an acceptable price point (acceptable for 2021)...
I spent a long time watching performance reviews and waiting for one of these cards to finally be cheaper. Finally I found one in store for $319 and grabbed it.It does a great job running games on their own. Thats the problem, though. If you run other programs, youtube, netflix. etc the video stream will stutter horribly and the game will also stutter a bit even though it shows 60fps.I'm incredibly disappointed in this card. My old gtx 1060 3g. THREE GIG card was able to do all of that without issue and still maintained 40 to 50 fps.Ill be returning this card and just going back to my old 1060 3g until the end of time I guess.
I got the Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 6600 about a month ago. The unboxing process was an absolute joy because everything was in there safely with no room for damage. Put this GPU in and booted up my computer. The performance I got out of this was absolutely amazing. I wasn’t expecting it to run as well as it did. All my favorite games like apex, halo, and rainbow are running on max settings with no problems. The games are so clear and crisp and is far better than my Xbox. Then the price for this was about $500 and worth every penny. If you are looking for a GPU for games like apex then this is definitely the way to go.
Upgraded from a Gigabyte 1050ti to this Gigabyte RX6600, basically a 3x/4x performance upgrade. AMD graphics cards aren't the greatest for productivity work in comparison to NVIDIA. Will work perfectly for pure gaming purposes, but if you're also thinking about doing some 3D work/video editing, you may be better off looking for an NVIDIA card. Looks cool, which is what really matters. Does not feel "cheap". Bought for 200
Would be an overall acceptable, yet minimal, upgrade from my RX 580 if it did not have sound issues. I would like to keep the card if there was some fix, but it does not appear that it has been addressed in 2 card series for several years. Any info would be nice, but all I can find online are customers' failed attempts to fix it. I have done the default PC builder behavior and reinstalled a clean copy of windows before installing the card's drivers. Beyond that what is there? An RMA? What a pain, but it's looking like it.
Found this in stock during the GPU shortage. It replaced a 1650 super that had died. Faster than the super is PCIE 4.0 and has HDMI 2.1 so you can do 4k at 120hz good card for the money. On to the only down side in a way is its size. This card is way over built for a RX6600 non xt the card size is massive and the 3 fan cooler is over kill good on them for giving you a 3 fan solution at this price point but no matter how much you over clock a RX6600 you will never need this cooler the card takes up as much space as my MSI gaming X RX6950XT thats a bit overwhelming for what it is. Great card though if your on a budget and not space limited in your case a 600w power supply is more than enough for this card in any system and it will run 4k at 120hz as long as you have a ... MoreFound this in stock during the GPU shortage.
