Where has this razor been my entire life? This was by far the best shave I've ever had! Extremely smooth and very close. The razor is well balanced and the weight is perfect. It comes with a stand. The fit on the stand is clumsy and can be better. But the actual razor is sharp but safe. The shave is absolutely professional. The razor simply glides over the stubble and gives a clean shave without pulling and tugging.The best shave undoubtedly.

I tried the Gillette Labs with Exfoliating Bar Men's Neon and Black Razor with Stand. The razor handle fits my hand perfectly. The replaceable head has five blades and an exfoliating bar that removes dirt and debris for a cleaner shave. The stand is magnetic, and the handle is metal, this keeps your razor standing straight up and dry. The box includes one razor handle, one cartridge and one razor stand. I highly recommend this razor for a clean, comfortable shave.

Unfortunately, this just works as great as any other razor...and that's all it really offers. The exfoliating bar seems pointless because it's not that textured/rough, and how is it able to exfoliate your skin as you shave....if your skin has a layer of shaving cream/gel on it. Basically, the bar is either gliding over the shaving cream or wiping it off your skin before the blades hit it. The magnetic stand is neat but nothing amazing or something I can't live without, and the 2 stars is basically for the blades. The Gillette razor has a nice, close shave, but as for the exfoliating bar....just buy an exfoliating face wash to use before you shave.

The black/green combo just pops. The handle is great - thick and heavy to easily control the razor. The shave is great as to be expected with a Gillette flagship razor and each shave has been equally close (going on #7 with it). This razor is clearly a top tier option. However, the problem I have with it is the value. The razor and blades are simply expensive as can be and while the shave is great - so is the shave with the Fusion5 and Proglide (almost identical quality of shave) and the older Mach3 isn't far behind. I got the GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Men’s Neon and Black Razor with Stand about a month ago. I am very impressed with the articulation of the razor head. The razor handle and stand are very handsome. The razor itself left more to be desired. I was surprised that the fresh blade was tugging on my facial hair like it was the tenth shave. I guess I expected the new blade to cut through the hairs like a hot knife through butter. I really like the looks, feel, and weight but am not impressed with the sharpness of the razor.
Nice razor with smooth shave. I do like how smooth it shave, cant say I notice much with the exfoliating bar maybe it helps but I could not really feel a difference using another razor. The stand is kind of worthless, even with the magnet, it really does not stay in there very well unless you place it just right. Honestly could do without the stand altogether as it really does not add any real use for me personally. Pretty decent just kind of a waste of fancy packaging and stand. Simplify, don't need anything fancy just need it to work.

I recently had the chance to try this Gillette Labs with exfoliating bar men’s shaver. I have to say it’s probably the best shave I’ve ever had. I already use a Gillette Fusion razor and have for a few years. I really like the fusion but for comparison this is much better. The handle feels great in hand and heavy in a well made expensive kind of way. It comes with a magnetic stand as well which I really like as it hood the hand of the razor straight up. The handle also allows the razor to move smoothly making shaving even better. The razor caused no irritation and cut my everyday thick beard quickly and in one pass which is impressive. I’m really happy with this razor and I’m very impressed that Gillette has figured out how to improve their design again!

Love this razor so far. It's pretty striking, sitting up in the base with very nice blades that are easy to clean, super big plus there. The clip that holds it in seems firm and pops out easy when pressed. Blades cut nice and the exfoliating bar, which is this razors gimmick seems to be a nice plus. The base is surprisingly heavy, meaning the razor stands up nice without far of a slight nudge tipping it all over. The replacement razors can be found fairly simply and are about the same cost as other premium razors so it comes down to performance (pretty good) and looks (really good). Definitely something worth a second look if your searching.
