Good product. Now, with clean 22.03.0 on GL-MT1300 wifi is working fine. Just set radio0 (802.11acbgn) to 2.4GHz (N), and radio1 (802.11acn) to 5GHz (AC). USB works ub to 100MB/s.

Good travel router for hotel stays and business trips.I am a huge fan of GL.iNet, and I have been using AR750S Slate for a long period of time which impressed me a lot. I think its time to upgrade my travel router.Compared with AR750S, Beryl has a better processing ability, wifi speed, and antennas to generate an outperforming wifi network for my work. Like the others GL.iNet products, VPN client is pre-installed which is neccessary for my work in the public area. AR750S Slate used to do a great job on VPN speed, but Beryl does even better which is out of my expectation.All in all a wonderful travel router for my personal/business needs.

This is my second GL hub because the first one worked so well. I made a little "mesh" network where I had poor coverage. I also use it on my boat and use it to charge my phone while the phone provides internet to the hub while out. I plan on getting one more for poor coverage in my workshop. The easy VPN is also nice.

Its reasonably easy to set up, and isn't a lot larger than the AR750 units I also have.Unfortunately, just like those units it WON'T keep the cell phone charged. If you leave it plugged in, eventually the router will stop charging it sufficiently and at some point you'll get the ugly surprise of a dead phone and non-functional router. Reboot, start all over, and 24-36 hours later the phone will be mostly charged.

Compact and easy to use, It will allow connecting to a public connection that requires permission on devices like ROKU when traveling in a hotel.
Bought this to connect to wifi on a cruise and it worked pretty nicely. Only used this as a repeater, and it worked as expected. Power consumption was decent when idle (could probably last more than a day on a 30000mah power bank). The best part of the device is probably the admin interface, which made setting up and changing SSIDs and connecting to various wifi easy. I also like that the antennas can fold down, making it easy to travel with.
this is great while traveling and this has both 5G and lower bands. it was easy to setup. I also added nordvpn to it and it is working well. the device is small and easy to carry.
My family and I moved across country and I wanted to ensure we had secure internet access while staying at hotels/airBNBs and such, so we got this, and it is a little DREAM MACHINE! I honestly couldn’t ask for more from this little guy! Plus, my wife said “ ITS SO CUTE!” So there’s also that
