Purchased over a year ago. Easy to put together. Easy to take a part to move. The cross bar support with the leg did not last long. The leg bent very quickly eventually leading to the cross bar to snap. Bed now dips in the middle. I have two dogs who jump onto the bed at night. Having additional leg support in the middle may have offered more support to prevent this. Would recommend having those pieces available to purchase to replace.

The headboard isnt solid. It has a solid border but the fabric isnt firm in the center. The headboard is too low.meaning theb"head bord dosnt support your head at all. So any person sitting in their bed trying to watch netflix will hurt their neck if they rest it against it.Its a flawed design, that will make your nights horrible due to a stiff neck.

Bought the bed in Sep 2022 and it was fine for the first 6 months or so, had no complaints and the drawers were working fine on wooden floor. However, recently, we’ve come to realise that the bed is low quality and won’t last long. The bed started squeaking a lot (so loud!) and unfortunately the face of pull out drawers has fallen off and won’t be attached again. I’ve been using the drawers everyday as I was storing daily items such as underwear, socks, etc, but I don’t think it’s meant to be used like that.. I’m now using them to store something long term such as out of season clothes or extra comforters etc so that the drawers are not pulled in and out daily.. which is obviously very disappointing!
| Depth of drawer (inside) | 57 cm |
| Footboard height | 33 cm |
| Headboard height | 95 cm |
| Height of drawer (inside) | 19 cm |
| Mattress length | 189 cm |

Own this for less than a year and it started making loud squeaks just by sitting on the bed around 6 months in. Tried all the home remedies to reduce the squeaks and they didn’t work. The slats are not strong enough to support the mattress. Thought ikea furnitures can at least last for a year or two but I guess not anymore. I’m so disappointed and looking for a new bed frame from other places already. Avoid this bed frame if you want to have a good sleep at night.
We purchased the queen bed with two storage boxes some time ago, and it has held up to daily use very well. I haven't had any issues with noise or durability. Of note, the storage boxes are not fully attached to the bed; they slide in and out on wheels, and can be fiddly at times. They do have a lot of storage space; I use them to store heavier clothing, and they work great for that. It is sort of annoying that the mattress moves around on the slats, but I'm sure I can get a carpet pad or something to help with that. Overall, this is a very good product that fits well in my small room.
I've loved every IKEA product I've purchased, and this is no exception. The assembly instructions were not as clear as other IKEA products, but I figured it out. In order to use the drawers on carpeting, I needed to raise the bed frame slightly by not screwing in the bottom posts all the way. If you're on wood floor, you shouldn't have a problem with this. Overall, great product at a great price!
Not even a few months and the storage boxes fell apart. I hesitate at first because this same thing happened to my child’s old storage bed but I thought maybe they’ve improved because of the years it’s been since I last bought a bed from ikea. The bed itself is ok but definitely don’t think it’s worth the price, I’ve gotten better quality at from other companies at the same price point of IKEA. I don’t think I will ever buy beds or drawers from here again.
I really wanted to love this bed but the quality isn’t great. The middle leg isn’t sturdy and the screws on the frame always loosen over time so I’m constantly tightening them. The fabric also gets dirty very easily and is almost impossible to clean. Overall, way too much work for a bed frame. I switched back to my Malm which has never let me down.
The quality of IKEA furniture has deteriorated over the last 6 years or so ever since they started using cheap quality hardware and materials. I know they are trying to be more sustainable, but sustainable doesn't have to equal 'cheap'. This bed is no different. The bed started squeaking after only 2 months of use and one of the drawers near the headboard tore a hole in the material lining the underside of the bed. And the drawers? They're a total mess all on their own. After only three months, the front panels of two drawers fell off so easily with such gentle use. I exchanged two drawers for two new ones. Even while carefully assembling the new drawers, the fasteners cracked and broke because they're made of cheap plastic, and for some reason there is a huge gap ... MoreThe quality of IKEA furniture has deteriorated over the last 6 years or so ever since they started using cheap quality hardware and materials. Even while carefully assembling the new drawers, the fasteners cracked and broke because they're made of cheap plastic, and for some reason there is a huge gap between the front panel and the two side pieces of one of the drawers. I resorted to fixing the drawers on my own by installing brackets to secure the front panels, which is very effective at holding them in place.
I have this bed for one year and can say that I am not happy with it. Had to tighten the screws multiple times, change the slats in various positions to try and eliminate the noise when you turn in bed. Even bought silicone bands which did not help as the noise is also coming from the wood of headboard and footboard. I can't sleep properly due to the noise and now have to get another bed. Also called Ikea support and they informed me that this type of problem is not covered by the warranty. As well to be mentioned, one of the drawers came faulty so had to wait for a replacement.... pff
