Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Bright-Eye Gel Cream 15ml

Glow Recipe is incredibly good at making effective skincare that is SO fun to use!The packaging on this eye cream is simply adorable: it's a tiny version of the guava serum in a pump system, and when pressed, it dispenses the perfect amount of product. The product itself has a faint pink color that I do not detect on my skin when applied, but I suspect subtly adds color correcting properties. There is a very faint naturally occurring scent from the fruit ingredients.I love that this product seems to instantly brighten (see color correcting idea above), and yet offers brightening properties in a deeper way long term. Brighter Eyes

I’m was so excited to try the new Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Bright-Eye Gel Cream and this product lived up to my expectations and more! I have dull and tired eyes and really was looking for an eye cream to diminish my dark circles, and puffiness. This eye cream is definitely strong but at same time gentle on the skin. I used morning and night applying using my ring finger a pea size all over under my eyes and also over my eyelids and towards my brows too and my eyes felt refreshed. Soon enough I noticed diminishing look of puffiness first on my under eyes followed by a diminishing look of dark circles too with continued use! I love this stuff, Glow Recipe’s releases feel like Christmas each time. I used to ignore my eyes mostly but now that I have more things to stress about, my under eye dark circles are becoming ever more prominent. Love the product itself, but PLEASE change the packaging

I am a die-hard fan of Glow Recipe. Been using them for years! I love this specific product the most, as it has helped a lot with the dark skin around my eyes, unlike other products. I am giving it a lower score because I am really tired of having to fight the bottle for the rest of my product :( It is way too thick to make it through such a small tube, and once it starts to dwindle, of course the bottle stops pumping when there's still a lot of product left in it.Every single time I start running out of this product, I try these steps: I first turn it upside down. Gravity helps to get some of it down. Because it's so thick, I do have to hit it against my hand quite hard (which does cause bruises) to get the rest down. Especially because it's upwards of $40, and I am wasting product.I am begging you, PLEASE change the packaging. I can't live like this anymore!

After cleansing my face, I apply essence water and serum, followed by moisturizer. After moisturizing, I apply the eye cream. It absorbs well allowing me to layer on makeup.I like this eye cream compared to others because it’s thicker, which provides more hydration. It absorbs nicely and does not leaving a greasy feeling.

Not the right container

Ok, so I realize others are saying this already, I guess I'll just write it anyway. The consistency is too thick for that kind of botte. The only reason that kind of bottle might be interesting is that you get the right amount in one pump and that you don't touch the product while taking some of it to apply. But, I don't care about that, they should have just put it in a normal cream pot so that the product can be used. Just like others have said, the product stays on the sides. I have to take 1-2 minutes of hitting it against my palm until there is enough product for one pump (one application) which is really annoying.To solve this, I tried putting the bottle sideways for a couple of days but it didn't do anything. I tried adding a tiny bit of water, and I could get some product out today, but it wasn't liquid enough to solve the issue entirely. I just added more water now, and will retry all of these steps and see if it helps... it does dissolve the product in terms of consistency and amount, but oh well, I mean the thing is stuck inside the bottle anyway, not like I would be able to use it much.About the product itself: I have dark circles that have been there all my life, even when I was like 14 years old. Not much can help with them except a perfect lifestyle, but obviously doing this religiously is hard given that I'm busy, so the circles mostly remain. Now this product helps, if I use it twice a day, it does reduce my dark circles quite a lot. But as soon as I stop, it goes back to normal. If I use it once a day, it's not enough. So good product but not very long lasting. I love the consistency and feel of it, I wouldn't make it more liquid just to be able to use that type of bottle, I think a cream pot would be ideal. I'm sure it can help others that have a more minor case of dark circles than me, or are trying to correct other skin issues.

Really like it, hopefully it starts to like me

I love the fact that you can literally put this on the entire eye area, as well as how thorough the instruction are for this (it even says to apply between the brows in that 11s zone). I have been looking for a product that could be applied like this! It's surprising that there really aren't eye cream out there meant for the entire eye area. I also really like the texture and it does absorb quickly and my skin feels nice and silky after (it not sticky=yay). Now unfortunately for me, when I tried this the first night things went fine, the second time I put it on and my skin reacted and was bumpy (it was not an allergic reaction, just like irritation). After looking into it, the vitamin C could just be more than my eye skin area can handle as far a ph change goes. It took about 2 weeks for my skin to come back to completely normal. And then I (crazy thing) decided to try diluting the eye cream in the niacinamide dew drops since that's safe around the eyes (reducing the vitamin c concentration) and to try only using every other day to see if I my skin will adjust and then maybe I will be able to use the product normally. It has been going well so far... However, I am not an expert by any means and I don't know yet if my skin will actually adjust and if I will be able to use the product normally. This is just my experience and what I am trying because I did like the product and I want to be able to use it in the future.

I received a sample of the Guava Eye Cream from Glow Recipe for review purposes. I am 45 with drying, aging skin that still breaks out occasionally. My primary treatment concerns are hyper-pigmentation (from pimples) and crows feet. I used the GR eye cream twice a day for two weeks, stopped for two weeks, then used the rest for another two weeks. And I have to say, the difference was eye-opening! The days I used the eye cream, my eye area was lifted and bright. The effects were cumulative and when I stopped for the two weeks, I still looked more refreshed and awake than I did prior to starting the eye cream! I also noticed my acne breakouts healing more quickly, and the hard sebum (clogged pores around eyebrows) softening and dissolving. no product out there, especially not sold at a store, is going to help reduce dark circles as its typically genetic. the only thing that may help is getting professional lasering or injections. so once you realize that, you can have better expectations from eye creams (when you can actually just use your normal moisturizer). That being said, I still like eye creams bc they can help with depuffing and vit c/peptides/ceramides/caffeine are always good to have in AM products. this does a fine job with hydration, not the best, not the worst but at least it doesn't pill and works well under makeup. However, my only qualm is that once you get down to the bottom, bc the way the bottle is shaped, you miss SO much product that doesn't get pumped. it's gaslighting me about how much sleep i'm getting

I'm honestly amazed---this makes it look like I got so much more sleep than I did.I'm a college student, and I got this as part of the 2022 holiday vault set. I didn't think it would be much help. My undereyes didn't seem that bad, and I've never really seen the need for any eye-specific product before. I used the product mainly because I figured, why not?...I look more vibrant and energetic than I should. My sleep schedule was practically nonexistent, and I woke up some days feeling like absolute garbage, and my undereyes were practically gaslighting me the entire time.(For the record, I'm writing this review while on spring break, hence the past tense for a lot of things.)Did I love the product?
