Glow Recipe - Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Tinted Dew Drops - 40ml

I am so glad to be part of the Glow Gang because of this product. The Glow Recipe Hue drops are really amazing. Not to mention, the price is literally so good for how amazing the product is, and there's a lot of product in the bottle. I use this almost every morning, and it's sunshine in a bottle. It's gives my skin a nice warm glow, and looks very natural. Over time, I noticed my skin also being less irritated, and it's definitely from this product. It doesn't clog up my pores during my morning routine, and I like to use it with my favorite moisturizer, and some days might even mix a little bit with my concealer. Also, I can also mix it with Glow Recipe's Dew Drops, which are also just amazing. Both are wonderful products. So Glow Recipe just released their new “Hue Drops” and I applied to try the product in exchange for a review. I love their niacinamide serum so I got to try this one! It offers the same formulation as their famous niacinamide serum, but with the added bonus of a bronzy glow!Upon application, hue drops provide an instant, radiant warmth tone skin. Beautiful glow

I’ve been using the Watermelon Glow Niacinamide hue drops for a couple of days now, and I have seen a slight improvement on my pores they’re less noticeable. At first when I apply it to my skin it burns a little bit but after that it seems to work fine with my dry sensitive skin. The scent is my favorite! It smells so good. The glow it gives my skin is beautiful, but since I have medium skin I only put a small amount and it works great! I let my daughter borrow it and, her skin look soo beautiful! She has fair skin. She only put a small amount since you’ll be able to tell compared to the neck area . Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for an instant glow! Beautiful, glowy colour. Sticky, consistency.

I wanted to love these because the colour is beautiful - they leave me glowy without trending orange like other one-shade bronze products sometimes can - and I love the niacinamide component that keeps my skin looking even during wear, while also working to improve it over time.What I did not enjoy was how sticky the formula was on the application. I had been wanting to try a tint/bronze/whatever for a while, and I decided to go with Glow Recipe! (For comparison I don’t own Drunk Elephant or anything, sorry) To me, the texture is pretty thick and unlike a serum (which it says it is.) When I put it on my face it clogs my pores and when I touch my face..it feels sticky and not smooth anymore. To improve the texture I mixed it with my moisturizer, which that did help a little bit. Now the bronze..after applying it came out sort of red on my face, not bronze. The moisturizer helped with that a little bit too..but still. From ghost to glow

As a daily SPF-on-my-face wearer, I often notice in the summer, my face is a visibly different shade than my body. I wanted an alternative to face fake tan, and thought I'd give this a whirl. I bought this at the same time I bought the Saie Illuminator to compare, and I like them for different reasons. The illuminator gives a glow (no duh), whereas this gives more of a tint than the Illuminator does. As someone in healthcare who works 12+ hour shifts and doesn't often have time to wear makeup, but also doesn't want to look like death, this fits the bill perfectly for me. It gives me a fresh dewy and tinted look in all of 30 seconds without actual makeup; it does not have SPF which is why I opt to wear it indoors. I got this during the sale and it was more of an impulse buy but I don't regret it AT ALL. It's the perfect base if you want something bronzing but not a foundation or something cakey. I've been using it every single day I can and it looks like I was just tanning. It's super lightweight and I can't even feel it on my face, which I love. It feels like skincare, which it is but it's used as makeup. It's somewhat pigmented, that's the only con. If you want something super pigmented, I'd go for the Saie drops or Drunk Elephant ones. But those feel more like makeup. The bottle is super cute, I actually love it but since it's an awkward shape, it fits weird in my drawer but I don't care about that too much. I was excited to get this as a sample when I ordered other things from Sephora. It came at a perfect time because I was having some weird breakout dry mess on my chin that was hideous w/o makeup and almost worse with. I put this on instead of foundation (after moisturizer) and it made my skin look like glowing, natural skin. It seemed a little dark when I first put it on but settled after a few minutes. It also agreed with my skin, today is my second day wearing it and the pimple breakout mess has significantly gone down (I don't think that this minimizes breakouts lol, I just think it doesn't make them worse, allowing skin to heal). It doesn't do much covering, so if you are looking for a flawless look this isn't the product. I found it very similar to Glow Screen by Supergoop, only it smells better, is less oily, the bottle is cuter, and it is actually slightly less expensive. Overall if you are a low-key makeup person this is cool. I wish they had a mini version so that more people could check it out.

I actually really loved this MOSTLY. It was super lightweight on my face and prepped my skin nicely for further makeup application. It smells and feels just like the original. The tint isn’t super dramatic so I feel like this will only work on light skin tones. It looks darker than it really is before blended. It gave me a subtle but yet natural bronze glow (I have light skin /neutral undertones). The only thing I didn’t love about this is when I had profusely sweat it ran streaky! Bronze sweat drops starting falling off of me and transferring to my clothes. I’m an extremely sweaty girl from my medical conditions and I wore this to do my Pilates. Just this as a base, concealer, and mascara. I looked down and the collar of my shirt was bronze and bronze sweat ... MoreI actually really loved this MOSTLY.
