Offering full support for Nikon i-TTL and a built-in 2.4 GHz radio system, the Godox TT685IIN Flash makes it easy to create both simple and elaborate lighting setups. A powerful and effective lighting tool, this flash features a powerful guide number of 197' at ISO 100 with a zoom range of 20-200mm. The TT685N II operates as a full wireless master or slave unit with TTL functionality, and for maximum versatility this updated unit tilts from -7 to 120° and rotates 330°, giving you more flexible flash angles and a more efficient lighting setup process. Also featured is a new and unique TCM (TTL Converted to Manual) function, which allows for instant conversion from TTL to manual mode. This function helps you lock the proper exposure value and is useful for quickly determining a good starting point for setting external flash units in manual mode. For ease of use, an easy-to-read rear LCD panel illuminates your flash settings, and the flash includes a 2.5mm sync port for basic wired connectivity. An integrated 2.4 GHz X radio system is incorporated into the TT685N for wireless triggering. Able to be set up as a master or slave, this flash will help you create a versatile lighting setup with a range of 328' and support for 32 channels and four groups. Functions as a transmitter unit for the V1, AD200Pro, and AD300Pro flash systems. Also functions as a receiver unit for X1, X2, XPro, and V1 transmitter units.

Great speedlights just needed an extra one as one of my older ones is starting to see the end of the light, literally. But will continue to purchase these as need as I use them quite frequently.

As a student in college for film/photo, I have been learning professional photography. Throughout my program, I have been trying hard to learn new things and push myself to be the best I can be.During my training, I wanted to master flash photography which I found challenging to come up with creative usage since most of the time, I only used the on-board flash (don't do that)I have since learned how good having an external flash can be! This flash IS NO JOKE! It does a good job and has PLENTY of settings to strive for good imaging.I have found it uses up battery so much more but I think that is the same for most Flash Devices. To show you what I've done, I will be attaching some of the work I have done since getting this flash.

Cost-effective and works extremely well!

I am using two of these flashes with a Godox Xpro 2 transmitter, almost always off-camera mounted on light stands bare / in combination with a soft boxe through the Godox S2 bracket. I moved into the Godox system because getting the same flexibility and capability with OEM for my camera system is very expensive. I do own an OEM flash (way more expensive than the TT685CII) and given the flexibility of the Godox, I only use the OEM for on-camera/bounced flash indoors (or when I need a third light in which case I mount the OEM flash onto to the Godox system through the Godox X1 receiver). For everything else, I aways go to these Godox flashes. One more advantage : I also shoot micro-four thirds, and I only needed to get an X2 Pro transmitter for that system. I have also come to realize that there is only so much speedlites like these can be pushed when used in combination with big softboxes (e.g., 34). So I am now looking at the AD 200 Pro / similar as my next flash!

Decided to go with the Godox wireless system for external speedlight. Purchased this model in case I want to use ETTL. Works well as external flash using Godox X2T-c trigger. I like that all settings are done through Canon camera menu. Shipped quickly.

I am new to using a flash but so far this flash has been great. It is powerful and pretty simple to use. I am taking a class soon to learn more about flashes so I'm eager to see what this thing can do. I don't have any complaints.

Good buy on the Godox 685c ettl Canon 800d pairing

Functional flash with all required settings for ideal lighting setup for amatuer to experienced photographers. Just uses up rechargable batteries really quickly. And need to test its remote linking to the Canon 800d e-ttl. But will recommend the godox 685C as a good addon to your kit but with a couple sets of rechargable batteries.

New - slightly disappointed in quickly repeating flashes
4 November 2022

I used this flash with my Canon EOS RP (from B&H) at two weddings last weekend. I may not understand the settings yet. I thought I'd be able to get a faster repeated flash. Instead I got some variety because a few un-flashed images turned out interestingly. Others failed. I have been a B&H customer since 1994, when my NYU professor recommended B&H.

TT685 Godox flash works well on Canon R10. Just need to ensure careful positioning in new style hot shoe. Quality appears quite good so far. Need to use reset buttons to get out of locked settings. Not overly powerful but adequate for general use.
