The order came very quickly, which was very helpful for my next job.The trigger is a real improvement on the Mk 1 version. Double pressing the channel buttons to turn them on / off is very good as is just pressing the mode button to engage the TCM function. A quality bit of kit and worth the extra cost.

The trigger has all the functions now anyone would need. Bluetooth connectivity, TCM, Channel Scan and an improved menu with the single pin function from the XT1 back again! I received the Pixapro version instead of the Godox but it works flawlessly with everything I have. This was because of the long lead time of the Godox version but regardless it is essentially the same with a different print on the unit. It arrived quickly and with good feedback from the staff at Essential Photo. I'm looking forward to using it at my next photoshoot.

Finally a trigger for my Leica's
If you've worked with other Xpro triggers - this is exactly as you'd expect. Easy pairing - make sure you've updated firmware on your strobes - newly posted Aug 2022. Only minor gripe is it's a tad wobbly on my M10.
What a disappointing trigger. The new design is great. The battery compartment is better than before. But the hss doesn't work with any of my Godox flashes and strobes. You have to put it in TTL, which I never like using because it takes total control away from you. That said, even in TTL, the TTL exposure adjustments don't work. It triggers everything at the same power level no matter what you adjust it to. All my gears firmware is up to date, so what's the excuse? I've used these triggers (the old ones) with other brands, and they work great, minus the terrible build quality and design of the old ones. Very disappointed. Especially since this trigger is twice the cost of the older ones.
I have been looking forward to this update as it combines the bluetooth functions of the XT2 trigger and the larger screen & TCM of the Pro trigger. It works great with an improved menu and a good use of buttons, both real and virtual. I will be using it soon at a shoot and think it will go a lot easier than the XT1 that I first had.
Finally a Godox trigger for Leica! Works as advertised and a long time coming.
