Best lightening for my dark brown/almost black hair. The lightening kit gets me pretty platinum as opposed to other lighteners that leave me coppery at best. It also doesn’t smell harsh, and doesn’t feel harsh on my hair after I wash it. My only gripe is I wish I could get the lightener and developer separately and in bigger quantities like bulk lighteners at Sally’s, I know it would probably cost a pretty penny but this lightener is that good I would still purchase it. Overall looks great, feels great, 10/10.

I've never had a bleach not completely irritate my head either in salon or at home. With this I could barely feel anything other than maybe a normal itch on my head. It feels nice rinsing out. My hair already had a teal green tint from a previous bleach over color job I did and i had about an inch or 2 of regrowth. It surprised me by actually lightening my teal which I only put on to test it. My roots were lightened so quick! I only kept it on my head for 15 minutes because it does its job. I have natural dark brown hair so it works amazing!

I'm about to dye all of my hair blonde cuz I loved it so much! That also means I can change my hair color more often. I have type 4a hair and its dark with natural red highlights. It turned blonde faster/better in smaller sections with foil then to saturate and bun it. Can't wait for all the fun colors!!!

I am so impressed! This for my hair so light so quickly! I have light brown/blonde hair that lofts pretty easily but other lightening kits have left my hair super yellow. This one got my hair almost white right away! My scalp didn't burn at all. I did use most of a kit for my short hair so you may want 2 kits if you have longer hair. Really easy to use and does a great job! In the pic, I just got done with lightening my roots and using the bleach to pull some left over blue tones out. Then I toned it with an ash blonde deposit.
I started using a cream lightener years ago and havent looked back. Then I tried this stuff! I had used their color before, but only when my hair had been pre-lightened. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!! It was extremely effective on everything! And I mean EVERYTHING. It lightened it all extremely well with just a single application without any brassy tones at the root or muted, pastel leftovers where the blue and green had been. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.
My hair base is black and 3b, which is curly-curly. The results turned out quite well for my first bleaching job. I was surprised at how quickly my hair lifted considering how dark my hair is, but I was not gonna complain on that front. I definitely have plans to purchase the lightening kit again to keep up the color, I just love it! It’s also great that anytime I have a question about how to purchase a product such as how many lightening kits should one buy on their first bleaching, or anything like that we can always just text for those hair emergencies and it’s so appreciated!!! This dye lasts for a long time and is very vibrant. When using dyeposit it doesn't fade at all. The colors do need a very light base. The colors are true to display, but slightly brighter. I recently tried their bleach as well and it was very effective, while not drying out my hair too much. I like that the dye doesn't drip too much and stays during application. You don't really need instructions it's so easy, but rinsing with multiple colors can be a challenge as far as bleed.

I've had my hair bleached once before by a friend, but it took her 4 boxes of bleach to get my whole head while this lightening kit only took one bottle (and I bought two just in case). It was very easy to apply (although having a way to be able to apply it as a foam or something else to make it even easier might be interesting) and didn't smell too too bad. Easy to wash out, but of course, like with all bleaches, made my hair feel dry and stripped initially. After applying the GDY hair dyes, my hair did feel a lot more conditioned and smooth. Before the hair lightening kit, I haven’t ever personally done my own hair lightening because that scared me a bit, however this experience with the GDY lightening kit was really good! Everything went on well, the application process was a little tricky for me st first because I was trying to get my roots bleached longer before I started the process of the rest of my hair. Overall the consistency was good, I didn’t add foil, just kind of let everything sit for about 20 mins to lighten up what I had color wise previously! Overall this seems like a user friendly product, not too harsh on my head and I was able to figure out the ropes quickly!

I have thinner, straight, collarbone length hair and used more than enough and still had a bit in my bowl.Oh, and you'll want to be in a well ventilated area. The fumes are strong with this one!
