These handsets are quality used devices that have been fully tested and are in excellent working order. For the age of the handset, they will be in generally good cosmetic condition and show signs of wear. This includes, but not limited to, scratches, marks, scuffs and chips - certainly nothing offensive by any means. They have been fully inspected, surgically cleaned and rigorously tested through our quality control program to ensure that they are in excellent working condition. The cosmetic wear is purely that - cosmetic, it has no bearing on functionality and these handsets are a considerable saving, especially if the phone will be spending its life in a case and behind a screen protector! Comes with a free USB lead only, no additional accessories are included.

The camera is decent. That's where the positives end. The phone is very fragile when compared to other smartphones, it's came apart several times in the life of this phone. I got a sweet deal on this phone so I figured I would try it, if I could go back I would have paid double price for any other phone.Unfortunately I've heard the same from the newer pixel phones although I don't own one of those and I never plan on it. A start-out decent and quickly go downhill.Do yourself a favor and get a phone from a different brand, Google does a lot of things well, the pixel is not one of them.

I love this phone, I love the design, love the camera, love the face unlock, especially the face unlock. As a welder the face unlock helps a lot, just so I don't have to take my gloves off, and I'm just Soo use to it, after having this phone for 3 years its still my favorite. Yes I know bad battery life, bad speaker, and everyone wish to have the finger print unlock, but honestly this phone is better. I hope Google makes another phone just like this one or better, better battery, better camera, better texture, and whatever that will make people love the phone even more. Please Google make another one, another face unlock phone please

I was a huge lover of Google the company. And the first Google phone I got was a Google pixel XL. I cherished that thing and loved it so much... Only to have it die in its sleep a year later... I put it on the charger before I went to bed and was just using it the night before, then the next morning I went to check my notifications and the device felt ice cold and was showing no signs of life. I was heartbroken. I even tried putting it on the charger that I have in my car thinking that maybe the charger was bad. So to replace my Google pixel XL my father got me the Google pixel 4. I was so excited to have an upgraded version of the Google phone. I loved it so much, even more than what I loved the Google pixel XL. But then a year passes and the Google pixel 4 does the exact same thing the Google pixel XL did for me. Mind you I got these phones from two separate Verizon stores. The Google pixel 4 I even checked the night before and it showed it's battery life was at 100%. I rolled over and went to sleep and woke up to a phone that died in it's sleep again. I have come to the conclusion that Google is just the Android version of iPhones..... THEY ARE NOT BUILT TO LAST! And it was an absolute waste of our money...

A very fragile phone
7 October 2021

This is the most fragile phone I've ever owned. Throughout my life I've owned phones by Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, and now Google. They've all held up very well. I can be a little tough on my phones. I carry them in my back pocket at work and like to go running, bike riding, and hiking and I've never had a problem with a phone breaking before. I've had a cracked screen or 2, but I've never had one just die on my before. That changed when I bought this phone. I've had to take to be repaired 3 times now and it just completely died on me after dropping it from about 2 feet from the ground. The first time the touch screen got pushed in and it kept registering that something was pressing the screen in the center. The 2nd time the ear piece went out on me and I couldn't hear anyone during phone conversations. Now the it just completely died on me after being dropped. I've only had this phone for 5 months and it's consistently having problems. Buyer beware, this phone is fragile. It also consistenly has a hard time staying connecting to the 5G network and switches between the LTE and 5G. I get caught on "black holes" in terms of connectivity where it simply cannot connect to any network and tells me I'm offline. I live in the city so I know I'm not out of range of the network and I did not have that problem with any other phone I've owned and I've lived in my current place for 9 years. I cannot recommend this phone based on my experiences.

Die hard Android and Google fan ready to switch to iPhone.
25 August 2021

I have always been a big Android fan. I tried iPhone once and was not overly impressed. I told so many people that Android was better at voice recognition, widgets, and functionality that's business friendly. Since switching back from my iPhone I've had two Google Pixel phones. Let's just say I'm ready to go back to iPhone. Their software seems to be slipping. The battery life on these phones is MISERABLE after one year. The voice text recognition is as bad as, if not worse, than my iPhone. I can't stress how disappointed I am in the most recent updates in Android and Google's Pixel phones. I have defended this platform vehemently and I'm pretty much embarrassed at this point.

Good, sturdy phone. Don't feel the need to switch brand.

I've never had serious problems with my Pixel phones. The biggest downside to Pixel 4 is the fingerprint sensor was taken away. My Pixel 2 sensor was super accurate and fast. But the 4 is just facial recognition which is really annoying especially if it's dark. BUT the phone is very sturdy. I've dropped it....too many times on concrete, tile floors, etc and it was perfectly fine. Even without a screen protector. In the very beginning I had very, very minor glitches with the phone but they went away. Also, battery life is great. I can go all day without charging, but I'm pretty serious about not taking my phone off the charger until it's reached full charge. Good phone. I don't run into tons of problems like I hear with iphone and samsung. I've also had this phone ... MoreI've never had serious problems with my Pixel phones. Would have been a good product if not for it's design issues.
3 July 2022

I would have reviewed higher if it wasn't for the design flaw with pixel 4 phone's body. Unfortunately, people, including myself, have found out that the back of the phone is glued on in a way that it can wear out, causing the back of the phone to separate from the main body of the phone. From the stories I've heard I'm fairly lucky that it took my phone just about two years have this problem. Some people in their first year have gone through several of these phones. The downside for me is I have no warranty after two years and this destroys any chance of google fixing this problem for me. So I've had to unexpectedly had to order a new phone before I had planned. I'm moving to a Motorola, don't want to risk another fatal flaw with a Google pixel.
