Used a couple of times underwater in the salty sea. Easy to operate, easy to prepare. My GoPro fits easily without an extra effort.I wish the front lens section size was same with previous versions so that I could use my lens covers, protectors and underwater filters, etc.I'm happily using it.

This protective housing is sturdy and secure. Seems like it would hold up very well if dropped. I didn't put it through some rigorous testing, but I used it for hours underwater in Maui and not a drop of water got inside. Also, the salt came off it very easily.

The case itself is great. It's extremely protective. My camera was pushed off a window ledge by our cat and it hit the concrete, and the camera and case were still in great condition. The skeleton back makes it a lot easier to use for time-lapse and other things as long as you're not going to submerge it underwater. If you're going to submerge then use the full enclosure. Overall the case is great and I'm super happy with my purchase.

Works great, easy to use, no need to take your lens off. Older Hero 7 underwater cases required that you twist off your lens. While providing marginally better quality (less glass between sensor and object), they also made your gopro non-waterproof and were a pain to use. These newer cases don't require you to twist off your lens anymore, so even if your case floods you should be fine. It's simplistic and I couldn't see the impact of extra glass in my images.
I love this waterproof housing. It enables me to remove and secure my GoPro with ease, while keeping the housing mounted on the motorcycle. It makes it easier to clean the bug off without damaging the lens. Since the GoPro is waterproof, I use it with the open back to ensure the camera stays cool. Only negative take away is I would have liked to have the option of a pass through for the cord to keep camera charged while on the road. Now if they would make one for the GoPro 11 Mini.
I actually use this on my motorcycle and it's amazing. Rain or shine, it keeps my GoPro safe from everything that comes it's way. I've had it in rainstorms, rocks thrown at it from transports, bugs smeared all over it, and my GoPro comes through it all without any issues at all. I've even dropped my bike on it once and the only thing I had to do was adjust the arm position.
I upgraded from a hero2 to a Hero9 and the power button is not easy to use. You really need to jam the button in to get it to respond on the camera as if the button doesnt push in deep enough. Maybe my case is slightly defective but i do still feel it will protect the camera atleast from falls. Will mostly be using the case and gopro on a dirtbike helmet.
While I haven't been using this quite for it's intended purpose, it's still great. I've been using it as a way to keep my camera protected between uses until I can get a more proper storage bag or something. The only minor complaint I have is that the lens cover, which can be replaced, requires a very specific size hex bit to remove the screws and it's not real easy to find one in stores. Even my iFixit kit only has bits that are just barely too large or too small.
After watching a YouTube video, it took a few minutes to figure out how to open the case so I could insert my GoPro inside. Once I figured it out, it became easier every time. I’d rather have a tight fitting latch than a lose one. I use this housing with the skeleton door, along with a mini tripod and a tether cable attached to my PFD, to use and protect my GoPro Hero 10 Black while I’m kayaking. The buttons are really responsive while in use.
It took a little while to figure out how to get this thing open. The latching mechanism is a little tricky, and isn't very user friendly. Once you get your gopro inside it works great. Used it on my motorcycle to protect from rocks, bugs and debris. It's tough and doesn't affect video quality.
