The best wash for synthetic fabrics. Use it for cycling clothing, Nordic ski clothing, base layers/undergarments, leggings, socks. Washes cold/warm, rinses out well and does not have a strong odor. Hang dry and your expensive outdoor gear will last longer. Been using for four years and haven't found a better product.

I got this when my favourite activewear wash was discontinued. I was skeptical, but it got the sweat and salt out of my mountain bike gear. No residual stank at all! I think it would also work for yoga wear and even hockey clothes, but I haven't tried it for that (yet).

Unimpressed with the main feature of this formula: to get rid of odors. It leaves a pretty gnarly scent after a full wash cycle. I thought it meant that the clothing needed to be washed again, so I soaked it in hot water (as per the instructions) and Grangers solution; smelled even worse. I will most likely have to wash activewear once with Grangers and then once with Oxyclean. Disappointed.

Smells fantastic out of the bottle but doesn’t have a lingering smell after the wash. It rinses out thoroughly and clothing smells brand new without any odour masking. It says it’s good for all fabrics including merino wool which is a huge plus but I went ahead and got the merino wash anyway. I got the performance wash for my futurelight and was very impressed. The design of the product bottles is very nice as well even though that is only superficial. Overall I’m sticking with grangers. It is recommended the most as far as I can see on Reddit and online reviews.
Being an active person, I go through a lot of performance/active clothing every week. Sometimes I find myself doing 2 or 3 loads of active wear laundry a week. I've invested a lot of money in my clothing over the years and I want to make sure it lasts as long as possible. Not just for financial reasons but also environmental. Take care of your gear and it will take care of you. The Granger's Active Wash has been my go-to for years now. It gets even the dirties and smelliest clothes clean and smelling great. I highly recommend this wash to anyone that cares about their active apparel.
Ive tried many brands and this is the only detergent I’ve been using ever since. Keeps my tech gear in great shape and smelling great. I found the perfume is not too strong and it’s effective at keeping any unwanted smell off of sports gear. Worth the price - highly recommend!
I'm not sure if the odour was removed or just covered. It leaves a strong soap scent on the cloths after washing and drying. When the cloth gets wet again, the odor start sto return very quickly. I was using it on older sport wears, maybe it works better on the new ones.
Some of my sports bras were still smelling after using my regular detergent (even on the hot cycle), so I decided to give this a try. In general, it eliminates odours but not the stronger ones. A longer, hot wash cycle with this detergent removed 98% of the smell but didn't work well with colder water.
This removes the smell from gym clothes like nothing else I’ve tried. Why can’t the tide’s and other big brands not achieve this with the lab resources at their disposal? I don’t know, but if they could sell this stuff in large jugs to rival the big brands prices, I would use it for all my laundry...Had a shirt I was about to throw out only because of the smell (still looked fine) and Grangers gave it a new life. Paid for itself just with that. Definitely recommend.
I’ve used a few other athletic washes before. This one seems to work the best but it doesn’t work miracles. The detergent has a light, fresh smell in the bottle but does not leave any scent on your clothes. It seems to just neutralize most odors related to sweat.
