Used to refresh a 5-year-old nylon tent, product worked well. No leaks following rain showers when we camped. Easy to apply.
I have long been using Grangers products and I have found them to perform among the best products on the market for gear/clothing protection. With this new gear repel product, I tested it on one of my packs. After treatment, I applied some water to the treated area and, indeed, the water-repellancy improved as water beaded up on the fabric's surface. This product is going to come in handy with my tent's fly as well since it is losing some of it's DWR and needs a re-coating which I look forward to using this product for.
the spray head is of poor quality and would not spray as it should . ended up having to use a paintbrush to apply the liquid /.
This stuff does exactly what it is supposed to. After using it and letting it dry, I ran the hose onto item for a while, and it simply poured off without any soaking into the fabric. 100%..... well worth the money !
WOW!! My swag would leak in the rain from the large side canvas panels but I sprayed this all over and the last 2 nights it’s rained and NO LEAKING yay. The rain wasn’t super heavy but will update if it does start leaking again
Used it in a tent fly. Followed directions, a little messy to apply then wait and wipe off so I did it in sections. Seems to have made a difference... fabric feels better but I have yet to test it. The bottle was more than adequate for a 2 person tent fly.
Great way to augment the water repellent property of tech material. Used on my kids gears with great success
Works well enough. I bought this to re-waterproof my arcteryx jacket and I noticed it doesn't do the best to re waterproof around the cuffs, but did a fine job re-waterproofing in other spots further up the arm. I may have to re-treat the cuffs.
