Graphics Card Asus GT1030-SL-2G-BRK 2 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
The GT1030 from Asus is a graphics card that is completely passively cooled. Since it operates without a fan and relies solely on the airflow of the case for cooling, the card produces no noise. Thanks to the Auto-Extreme production process, Asus guarantees the highest quality of the components used. Although the GeForce GT 1030 is Nvidia's slowest graphics card with a Pascal chip, it only requires 30 watts and supports 4K HEVC content with HDCP 2.2 protection. This makes the model ideal for mini PCs in the living room. For those looking to use the graphics card beyond videos, it provides sufficient performance for 1080p gaming with reduced details.

The package arrived and delivered in time and in good condition. Well packed, bubble wrapped outside the box and also the main box of the video card. Absolutely perfect and legitimate indeed! Registered the graphics card serial number and immediately detected by Asus official website . Also Improved my gaming performance since I am using a 720p monitor. Great gaming performance!! Many thanks to seller and Lazada! 5 stars for this one.

Purchased this in December using BH''s Payboo card for a new build BAD mistake. I computed the build this month and found the card does not work at all. A useless brick.BH refused to do anything to help.In a situation like this I usually can contact my credit card company AMEX to make things right, but unfortunately I used BH Payboo to save a little. The card is a brick and after repeated emails and phone call to BH they told me point blank they would do nothing because this is industry practice.WRONG BH. Some sellers have 3 mos. return policies and others, like Amazon, make exceptions in situations such as this where a brand new product does not work at all.Fooled me once, shame on you BH.

Upgrading to this from a GT 730 resulted in frame rates much higher than anticipated even after researching about what one might expect.I only use fanless passively-cooled video cards here. This card only needs about 30 watts, almost 40% less power than the previous card, yet with the one 3D video game here which could benefit from the upgrade: the FPS is easily 4 times as high or more. This desktop now uses about 80W, probably less, and has acceptable gaming performance IMO.Asus often has terrible software. I didn't trust them enough to install their utilities, considering that this card isn't their flagship product. Similar cards from other people besides Asus might have an advantage in that way or others, but this one was cheap and I generally trust Asus to ... That's OK though, there's no AMD here, so it will not start a fire or anything.

I bought this card as a cost effective replacement for an EVGA 2GB GTX 560 Superclocked card that crashed with memory failure. The 560 was always hot, averaging around 140 Fahrenheit under load and the fans were always spun up and noisy. I've never run an ASUS card before the brand is reputable, has been around a long time and the current demand for GPU's for crypto mining has raised prices prett much across the board. The specs between the 560 and this 1030 card are nearly identical with each a little higher in an area or two. That being said, this card runs cool, around 110 Fahrenheit under load, it uses very little power (powered by the card slot), it is so quiet I cant hear it running over the other fans in the case. Performance is spot on, equal to the 560 at the very least but I think it's noticeably better performing for the games it's used for (World of Tanks, TF2, etc.). Benchmarking tools (cat zilla, EVGA OC Scanner X) show better performance as well. It's only pushing a pair of 19"" monitors but I expect it could handle decent frame rates on 23"" monitors as well. I got the card for $129 and for that or less I'd say its a great buy for a budget card.
I have a home theater PC (HTPC) in an nMediaPC 5000 case, running JRiver Media Center. I love the case, but its ventilation, despite 4 fans, and a vented top, has always been a problem with all but 35W Intel processors with built-in graphics (I was using an i7-4785T). On low graphics settings, there was too much banding, and on higher settings, there was stuttering of the video. With the GT1030 card, I was able to use the highest video settings and increase debanding in MadVR to ""High."" The picture quality was much better, and the card is of course silent. Unfortunately, the case could not tolerate the excess heat, and the hard drives went from under 40 degrees C to 50 degrees C. Turning up the case fans to compensate resulted in unacceptable noise. In a case with better ventilation, this card would make a great replacement for a Haswell iGPU. In the end, I bought a Ryzen 5 3400G and B450 motherboard, and used the built-in graphics of the Ryzen. The results are as good as the GT1030/Intel combination, and power consumption is the same as that combination.
I just purchased a basic PC Tower with onboard video, though it has a 9th gen Intel i5 processor, I felt the need to put a dedicated graphics card on it specially that I have a gaming laptop as loose reference. The (Asus) geforce gt 1030 was released in 2017 and that's the same year the integrated graphics on my computer also came out. But comparing the two, the asus geforce gt 1030 is way much better in all department, and that includes doubling the frame rates in games. Of course this GPU may lag behind the latest models and expensive gaming video cards, but having this installed in my computer is a very good improvement over all. Its plug n play, doesn't consume much power and very stable in a 300W stock power supply !! ..so no need to buy a new PSU. I got the ... I got the model with the heatsink only(no fan) and it runs cool in basic games like CSGO. Now my pictures looks good, videos and movies are visually striking crisps. The cost for this unit is hard to beat, and I believe I'll still be running this video card for 3-4 yrs in my home PC and will just be updating the driver regularly.
I wanted to improve upon a cheap Dell Optiplex refurb I copped to satisfy basic desktop and some light gaming needs better than the discreet performance of the pre installed intel 3770. I also didn't want to spend a fortune on it, or risk purchasing a second-hand GPU that had more oomph. Basically this was to enable a stop-gap need for a decent PC until I collect components for my eventual custom rig (with timing again difficult to determine because of the current market conditions). This little guy does just fine. Improved upon the performance of Microsoft Game Pass noticeably on most low-demand titles. Also after tweaking it benchmarked quite a bit higher on the outdated FFXI, which is nice as it improves significantly over the basic refurb (not to mention my old, ... Also after tweaking it benchmarked quite a bit higher on the outdated FFXI, which is nice as it improves significantly over the basic refurb (not to mention my old, HP desktop not meant for the experience). I can't recommend this card for everyone, as the price is a bit high for such an old card, my overclock experience with it is nothing mind blowing, and it limits you to one hdmi and one display port output. But if you have an older system your trying to slightly upgrade for a fairly reasonable price and without additional power needs, it works just fine.
Good Points: 1 Displayport and 1 HDMI Port. Impressive for an entry-level GPU. It is ready to connect the latest Monitors and easy to connect old Monitors via DVI and VGA since there are plenty of cables for DP or HDMI output to DVI or VGA input (the other way round is not common).I had just installed a KVM (Keyboard Switch Mouse) so that I can easily switch between 2 Desktops sharing a Keyboard, Mouse, 2 Monitors, and all other peripherals like Hard Drives, USB Hubs, and Web Cams. The KVM requires a Display port. On my 5-year-old PC, this Card provided that DP Port.Improvement Points: Add an additional DP or HDMI port for a sweet Tripple Monitor setup
I bought a pair of these so my children would stop playing Roblox at 29fps with the integrated Intel graphics. It was making my eyes hurt. These can run Roblox, full quality shaders, at 60fps @ 1080p.Minecraft w/o shaders runs well above 160fps on a 4th gen i5 and will handle medium/high shaders in the mid-40s.My kids have tell all their friends they have shaders. I guess that's important in 2021.I installed a few current AAA games to test and it's surprisingly able to run many of them @ 1080p/720p with low settings but is probably best suited to games before 2015.Considering the price point and the fact that the card is silent it's a decent value.
