I received the Stanley Tucci 8” and 10” ceramic fry pans about 4 months ago. The packaging was amazing and the pans were gorgeous. I began using them immediately and have used them about 4 times a week ever since. I love the non stick surface. Foods just slide off and cleanup is a breeze. They take a little longer to heat, but retain a consistent temperature throughout the pan. The weight and handles are perfect. I would love to say the pans themselves are perfect but they are not. In spite of being gentle with my pans and using the protective pads, I have gotten many small nicks along the upper rim, caused by moving them in and out of the cabinet. The tiny little nicks reveal the metal underneath. These pans are gorgeous don’t get me wrong. I loved them when I pulled them out of the box. But I absolutely HATE these pans. After 4months of CAREFUL use. I mean I treated these things like a fragile baby with the utmost care.. the color has began to flake off the bottom and they retain this yellowish brown color on the bottom that won’t come off with the suggested white cleaners. Everything has been cooked on the lowest setting on these and the care and use was followed to a T as the price on these are insane. Please save yourself the money and don't waste it on this pan.

Before placing my order, I was reading the different reviews, where people were telling about the paint shading off the bottom of the pans. But, of cause, I thought that I am so neat and so careful, and handling objects I like with great care, so this shading will never happen to me. But I decided to be extra careful and ordered not the marvelous color pans with gold handles, but the black once. After the first use, I realized that the black bottom part of the pans is covered with paint as well (not anodized or whatever it calls). It looks more common, of cause, but still great and it performs beautifully.

We were so excited about these. We actually made the decision to upgrade our induction cooktop so it would be compatible with them. They are beautiful, and admittedly they cook wonderfully. They heat quickly and evenly. And the non-stick coating is truly nonstick.Imagine, then, the disappointment when I noticed today (after less than a month of having this cookware) that on the last to items I used (stock pot and the smallest frying pan) the coating is peeling away around the rivets on the inside of the pan. A) we have been exceedingly careful with these. Only wooden or silicon utensils. Only hand washing. Not even using the “scrubber” side of the non-abrasive sponge. The Stanley Tucci 8 and 10-inch nonstick pans do not work with the GE Profile 2024 Induction cooktop.I purchased the pans because they are labeled for induction. The problem is insufficient steel inthe pan, so the sensor turns off the cooktop. I am shocked that the pans would not be tested before beingsold with GE. The staff at Willams & Sonoma were great to work with to sort this issue out.
I loved the idea of this pan, but had to return it because more than one chipped. The glazing on the ceramic is what makes this pan, but literally returned 3 as they were all chipped- I inspected them in the stores after ordering the first one online. By the time I got home, they were chipped. I bought the black stainless steel one and love it. The way the pan distributes the heat is AMAZING and it is still a beautiful set of pans despite not having the lovely colored glazing.
While these pans are beautiful & the nonstick works wonderfully, they do not hold up well. They began chipping within days of use, they’re very heavy and the handles get extremely hot. The trivets holding the handles on were not done well and the handles were already coming loose. We used these for a few weeks & ultimately returned them. They are nice to cook on, but do not hold up well at all. To add, we were very careful with storage and used the felt pads between them each time we put them away.
Let me first say I am a HUGE fan of Stanley Tucci and cooking. I took a chance and vanity won out by me choosing the beautifully designed off white and gold color. That was my biggest mistake. I haven't cooked with a gas flame higher than medium and the color is trashed. It looks like it's 5 years old. The cooking performance of the pan is great- just the wear on the outside is terrible for the price. Also the larger skillet handle is coming loose already and I have had only 2.5 months and always hand wash. GreenPan should have ensured these pans had multiple coats of the paint with a better finish. There was definitely a shortcut in production and higher profit in their pocket. Stanley Tucci and the public deserve better.
I was looking for 2 new fry pans with nonstick coating, then this just happened to come along. I probably would have continued with All-Clad since all my cookware is.I do watch Stanley and he happened to be on the Today show this day. I like these pans. How different cooking with nonstick, how easy to clean! I purchased the green color. I cannot see anyone being disappointed. especially with the pricing considering what cookware costs. My home is smaller, so my pans are displayed on a ceiling rack, and they look smashing! If you are a new bride just starting out, you may want something different as the information included suggests a 5-year replacement according to usage. All I can say is for me they are perfect.
Worst pans I’ve ever owned. Worst service I’ve ever had from Williams Sonoma and from Green Pan.pans stained after normal use - Williams Sonoma staff on Montana Ave said bring them back so we did and then they said no we can’t take them back, call customer service - they were no help whatsoever. So we wasted hours on our Saturday trying to return the pans. Then I turned to Green Pan and after making me send in several photos and the receipt they advised I should try the same method to clean the pans that I told them I’d already tried - again wasted time for now satisfaction. Don’t buy these useless pans - I like Tucci so I’m bummed to have to post this but my goodness I don’t want anyone else to experience this pathetic product and such terrible service.
