Capturing the spirit of the contemporary, diverse and authentic women of Gucci, Bloom is creative director Alessandro Michele’s first fragrance for the House. Envisioned as a thriving garden of flowers, Bloom is created to unfold like its name. The creative director envisioned the scent as a thriving garden full of diverse types of flowers and the rich perfume it emits. Authenticity is woven through qualitative, highly-concentrated natural ingredients. Notes of natural tuberose and Jasmine leave an unexpectedly rich white floral scent on the skin. Rangoon Creeper, a plant that changes color when it blooms, infuses a powdery, floral edge. The vine’s flowers are redolent with a slightly powdery feminine floral perfume. The campaign portrays Bloom’s ability to transport the wearer to the verdant garden it was inspired by, and features actress Dakota Johnson, model and actress Hari Nef and artist Petra Collins. Friends of Alessandro Michele, they have a special connection with the House, their talent resonating with Gucci’s new vision.

This is a very linear FLORAL fragrance in my opinion. Definitely get the distinct note of tuberose right away. But to me it is not nearly as overpowering as can be the tendency in a lot of perfumes that contain tuberose. I seem to get florals that are not listed as notes for some reason....such as, honeysuckle, gardenia, magnolia, something in that kind of sweeter white floral realm. I say this because it reminds me a lot of both a Gardenia body spray that--if my memory serves me correctly--was by Sonia Kashuk sold at Target many moons ago, and the combination of magnolia trees/honeysuckle bushes in the front yard of my house growing up.Anyway, they have truly captured what a fresh (white) floral bouquet smells like in this. I think it goes without saying, you must really like and appreciate florals for this perfume to be suitable for you. I actually think this one has really great silage and lasting-power. It is rather impactful as well, and it does receive tons of compliments.((Okay okay just wrote this whole review and was literally about to post it... only to realize, wait, what even IS rangoon creeper?? Looked it up and, lo and behold, by definition Rangoon creeper is: “Odor profile: Sweet and fruity, strong and intoxicating, reminiscent of WHITE FLOWERS and HONEYSUCKLES." so thaaaaat is why I am getting such sweet white floral notes!))

This is a very beautifully done simple floral scent by Gucci. It smells just the way you would expect a perfume named bloom to spell, It has a nice depth and it is not a screechy overdone floral scent. Tuberose is prominent adding depth.Tuberose and jasmine are prominent especially with the initial spray, If only that initial spray could last a little longer. It dries down into a very simple floral without being overdone, I do not find this to be cloying or overly sweet. I have read a lot of reviews claiming that it smells old ladyish, not sure what that means but I think that people are associating tuberose with something that a mature person would wear. Either way it's beautifully done I think it is elegant but again the dry town is pretty basic. This perfume ... MoreThis is a very beautifully done simple floral scent by Gucci. Shortly after spraying it I stop smelling the beautiful opening notes which are all but gone. Lasting power approximately 3 hours on me then it becomes a skin scent of simple florals. Star deducted for longevity and dry down.

I love this set for many reasons. First the scents themselves are amazing and you get three 30ml bottles which is the perfect size for a first purchase of a fragrance. The first in the set is gucci bloom. This is a tuberose and jasmine based fragrance with a green opening. There's a soft sweetness coming from the rangoon creeper which is similar to honeysuckle. It's soft enough for day time and less heady than a lot of tubereuse scents. This is my favorite out of the set because it has the strongest white flower scent and I love the simplicity of it. Second we got acqua di fiori which is very different from the original. The green notes are amped up and I dont smell any tuberose. There's are some aquatic notes and some sweetness coming from actual honeysuckle this time. It's an eau de toilette so it's lighter. It smells like a lush garden on a pond. Last but not least is nettare di fiori. This one retains more of the floral aspect of the original and is less heady and a deeper floral with the addition of rose and patchouli. You also get three sweet flowers osmanthus, honeysuckle and rangoon creeper. There is none of the characteristic greenest of bloom here. The name nectar just like with acqua is well chosen here. It as if a beautiful mixed bouquet of flowers got drizzled in a bit of honey.

I immediately loved the packaging. It’s such a simple yet sophisticated bottle that looks so beautiful in my collection. As the scent goes, this is definitely floral. It’s not super intense, which is nice because we don’t want that older smelling floral fragrance. Immediately after applying you notice the tuberose jasmine pair. It is an incredibly fresh and floral smell that literally makes you feel like you’re laying in the midst of a garden. It’s almost a tiny bit citrusy! It smells so cool and refreshing. The white florals soon stand out, and you get the most sweet and creamy fragrance that is so invigorating. I absolutely love this soft and delicate scent! It’s intensity is just about perfect.
As its name suggests, Gucci Bloom is a white floral. Tuberose, jasmine, and rangoon creeper (Chinese honeysuckle) combine to create a bohemian bloom that straddles the line between old and new. From the very beginning, Gucci Bloom is distinctly floral, as might be expected for a fragrance named Bloom. Initially, the blooms are surrounded by lush greenery, with vibrant leaves and stem taking center stage and just a hint of sweet citrus (perhaps mandarin) to sprinkle sparkle on the tips. A menthol-like iciness is also present, evoking tuberose, Gucci Bloom's trio of flowers. When the white flowers bloom, you feel their full force. It's creamy, sweet, harmonious, fresh, and heady. The most striking aspect of these notes is how lightly they are used, which allows their full intensity to shine through. It gives the fragrance a fullness without the heaviness of white flowers. It’s incredibly well put together! The development of Gucci Bloom is relatively linear. Over time, it remains unchanged, with the key themes remaining strong while subtle nuances shift. With time, it softens, giving the impression of a garden as the sun moves over it. Although the garden is always visible, as the light shifts, different aspects become more prominent. Despite being linear, Gucci Bloom is multifaceted. Gucci Bloom is a beautiful fragrance. It's much more than just a white floral, which is often vapid, sanitized, and uninspired, but it's not heady or animalic like the old-school florals. It's brilliant. Aside from the gorgeous fragrance itself and the spot-on shade of blush in the '70s bakelite-style bottle, the vintage floral print of the box, and the simple name, Gucci Bloom is simply gorgeous. I can't wait to see what Gucci does next!
Beautiful, Floral, and Boring. This is one of the only blind buys I regret as Gucci perfumes are extremely expensive and I bought a full bottle. I love the color of the bottle, but given the price tag, the fact that the name of the perfume is a sticker on the bottle is a bit upsetting to me. Especially because of how beautiful the newest Alchemist Line Gucci perfume bottles are with the same price tag... Now on to the actual smell of the perfume! Although there is Rangoon Creeper in it, I smell just overwhelmingly linear tuberose. I think perhaps that Rangoon Creeper has a very similar smell to me personally (or on my skin) to tuberose and none of these notes are show stoppers. I think this perfume would be good for a day out with friends, a safe wedding perfume, a generous gift for a conservative female relative, or a safe choice at the office. On me this perfume does not last long but it could be entirely possible that I become anosmic to it as it really does not have many layers or nuances to it. Also a disclaimer- I swear to god I'm not just being bitter at the fact I blind bought this. There are a lot of super expensive blind buys of mine that I've hated but grown to love and appreciate over time (Like Thierry Mugler's Alien). Gucci Bloom isn't this. She's just a pretty girl with no personality.
So I blindly ordered this Gucci Bloom from Sephora, because of the high reviews. I normally don’t get ANY fragrance unless I’ve smelled it first. I admit I was freaking out a bit. It came today! First off, the packaging…… beautiful! Very feminine and warm. Something I can set out in my bathroom to add a warm, soft touch. The bottle has a nice weight to it, and feels sturdy and secure. Now the scent. At first sniff I was put off a bit, and my brain said nope! But, I gave it another spray and sniff and I became pleasantly surprised. It’s a beautiful scent. It reminded me of the Chloe Rose at first but upon further sniffs, I started to notice a more lighter, softer, and feminine touch. I feel like I’m floating in a cloud late in the night, gazing at the stars and breathing in that soft fall air. It feels more like a fall or winter scent, but could pull it of during the summer. I received several compliments and inquiring about this scent. Hubs can’t keep his hands off of me. I am now curious about the rest of the Bloom line, and I can’t wait to try them. This may just be my new signature scent. If you’re looking to add more of a soft, feminine feel to you fragrance collection, I highly recommend you give Gucci Bloom a try!
I was recommended this by an employee after being asked what my favourite type of fragrance was (classic, floral). Tried it out on those little paper strip things and was blown away by how lovely it smelled. It is simple and not overpowering, and I like these fragrances that stay the same after application + as they wear off. It definitely has a classically floral body but in a very chic and modern way. It isn't too sharp of a scent, and a overall warm profile. Feels like it's a good fall/winter fragrance.I can't speak on the staying power much since I don't apply it directly to my skin like you're supposed to (working on some skin sensitivity issues and possible allergies) but even when applied on clothing, I can still smell it about 6 hours later.Bought the ... I'm very picky when it comes to perfume, I used to love the Green Tea from Elizabeth Arden but they changed their formula and it doesn't last long anymore. I started out buying the smaller samples from Sephora to see which smell I would like more and this one sold me. It last so longer and I would get compliments from friends and even strangers. My coworker would tell me you smell like a very expensive BISS and I'm why thank you!! Got myself on this bottle when they had the 20% sale towards the end of December but will be buying this and using this during the fall and winter seasons. Even when I'm going out to get some coffee, the worker would say I smell so good and I'm oh, thank you! *Disclaimer, I only sprayed two times, one on each side of my neck. Three if I'm ...
