I received two perfumes from Influenster, the small sample size was the nerolia vetiver eau de toilette and a large mandarine basilica. I instantly preferred the mandarin perfume, it was lighter and more citrusy, where the nerolia was far more musky. That being said I did not *love* the scents of either, but I do think they were great (hence the 4 stars). This perfume lasts FOREVER. I sprayed on my winter jacket and everytime I put it on the smell is still very strong. If you like lighter perfumes this would not be for you. The formula is excellent though and it does smell good however does give me more of grandmas perfume kind of vibes. Overall very good but not perfect.

One of my favourite notes in perfumery is neroli. I don’t even know how many perfumes I have with neroli as the main note . While is a beautiful note, not all the perfumes do it justice . Many complain about the soapy notes or the the cleaning soap scent . Not this version of Alegoria! recently tried Nerolia Vetiver by Guerlain at Sephora. It's such a beautiful floral neroli scent. In the opening, the neroli note is more pronounced. I really like Guerlain's neroli note for being crisp and sparkling. In a few minutes the neroli's prominence is behind us and in the dry down we have a very nice fresh floral scent. I think the scent is rounded off by a mellow vetiver note and to less extent the fig note.Overall it is a pleasant fresh floral that is unisex but slightly leans on the feminine side. I prefer this for day wear during warmer months.

This perfume was very long lasting, I spent almost a month testing it prior to writing this review. I had sorayed on my winter coat, and as I put my coat on for almost two weeks I smelt this perfume. It did change over time and become much less strong but was a lovely smell. This perfume seems to change with your body as well and become a very nice softer scent over time , it reminded me of spring and is a more mature scent. The bottle is also very beautiful, even for a small size it is exactly as the larger version and so pretty and in glass so the scent is very consistent. Overall ... It has a very feminine scent with very subtle and comfortable longevity. Great for warm weather days to make you feel fresh. Its fresh and light, you only need a little to last a long time. Perfect for every day use. I'm definitely getting lime as the predominant note on first use. I do believe this is easily a unisex fragrance which i think is very creative. The packaging is beautiful, it can be used as a decorative piece on your bathroom counter! Very happy to be introduced to Guerlain products with an extremely positive first impression. It's very suitable for every age group!
