Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump Flower Stopper (Blue)

This product is amazing. I first found out about it when I saw another mom using it at Nordstrom’s. She was an over producer and so she used it to catch her let down on the side that wasn’t feeding. When she was done she just dumped it and rinsed it out and tossed it back in her purse. For me, this helped me get rid of a clog. I was pumping, tried hot showers, and hot compresses, and I left this thing on for like 30 mins and it cleared it for me.

When I first started breastfeeding/pumping I did not know how to use this properly. After a little research (and a few helpful videos) the Haakaa was a staple in my routine when it came to pumping and getting engorgement under control! The easiest way to avoid the “learning curve” is start out using slowly and not for an extended period (fully emptying). Fold the flap completely down and squeeze before applying it to yourself. Once everything is in place comfortably, release over the breast and slowly fold the flap up onto yourself. This should help avoid discomfort and create a nice suction for natural flow!

I now own 3 Haakaas with the suction base. This product is something you don’t know you need until you have it. Having more than one allowed me to have one in the fridge to cool the milk between feedings, but I still always had a clean one. When breastfeeding you just place it on your alternate breast while your child nurses and it collects all the milk that would have otherwise gone into your bra. I couldn’t believe how much milk I was able to collect without really trying. It’s great for those late night feeds too, because it’s silent. Overall I would absolutely recommend this product. Bonus tip: if you have 2, put them on while you shower.

I absolutely love this suction pump!!! It collects all my milk that leaks while nursing my baby and has effectively boosted my milk supply. I wish I would have had this with my previous pregnancies!!! My only recommendation is finding this pump that comes with a lid for storage purposes unless you have a high supply that fills the entire pump, which can hold up to 5 ounces. I love the ease of using this, however if you have a squirmy baby I would advise you to watch it closely so that it doesn't spill. Ive used this for about 6 weeks now and only spilt it twice so if used properly, spills are avoidable. I bought this at an affordable price off Amazon and would recommend this product to anyone planning on breastfeeding

Everyone told me to get a Haakaa and I'm so glad I listened to them! It is great to relieve engorgement, catch letdown, or pump on one side when the baby is nursing. It is really small, but can hold up to 100mL. It is made out of flexible silicone and is easy to wash. I wish I got the one with the suction bottom because it is easy to tip over. I put mine in a clean cup or mug so I don't accidentally knock it over.

I absolutely love this product. I have been breastfeeding for almost two years with my toddler and now adding my newborn. I exclusively pumped for my oldest and now I nurse my youngest and use the Hakka on the other side for my toddler. This product can make your nipples sore in the beginning (all pumps will). But I can take this pump anywhere and it is so easy to clean! It is also very cost effective as you aren’t replacing pump parts or the pump itself, or at least I haven’t had to.

I love this product. I have been using this throughout my breastfeeding journey. It really saves time in collecting milk while you are feeding. It sucks continously. I am also using this even if I am pumping. So while I am pumping the other side I use this to othe other side as well. It works really good for me and I feel like if it helps to in prduction of my supply.

I was prone to getting blocked ducts with both kids. If you know, you know! This is the worst feeling and can be extremely painful. I had the Haakaa as I would use it from time to time when I was either breastfeeding or using my single pump. I quickly learned that with warm water, Epsom salt and the Haakaa you can clear a clogged duct. This was my new go to and saved my life (and boobs!) more then I can count. It was also super handy to have for when I was using my single pump or breastfeeding, I could easily place it on my other without fear of it coming off.

The haakaa is an amazing non mechanical breast pump that uses suction. I typically use it while I breastfeed on one side to catch the letdown on the other side. This has made building a milk stash much easier and faster. I recommend watching videos on how to properly use it and attach it to get the most milk out. It's made of silicone and is dishwasher safe. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is breastfeeding.

Suitable for exclusive pumping too

I read so many reviews before buying these pumps that talked about using them alongside breastfeeding. My beautiful baby has tongue tie so we exclusively pump. The first day I got these pumps i was nervous but I was very pleasantly surprised at the functionality! I have 2 pumps and I use them every morning (so I can stay in bed and not plug in to a wall) and I get 250-300ml total milk in about 45min-1 hour. I also find these pumps a lifesaver for the exclusive pumper when you want to be a normal mum out and about! I have used these while driving, and they just pop on under a maternity shirt so are quite discreet! The only downside is they can pop off if you move around too much BUT you can buy pumping bras which would hold them on. I still mix my pumping systems daily, so I use my electric pump several times a day and my haakaa 2 times a day. They can be quite tough on the nipples as it's a broad hole and suction powered, and it's important to still either breastfeed or use an electric pump and massage the breast for full drainage as the haakaa doesn't quite do it for me on its own.Overall I absolutely love these pumps and would recommend them! Experience, and I'm secure in knowing I can still provide pumped milk for my baby if we have a powercut or natural disasters! Highly recommend these pumps
