When I needed a new French-door fridge to fit in a limited size alcove the Haier was one of the few that would fit. Wasn’t too sure about the quality of Chinese manufactured fridges but just about all the reviews I found gave it glowing reports. Now I can add my praise of this product as well. It fitted perfectly into the available space and it runs so quietly you wouldn’t know that it was on. The layout of the fridge and freezer compartments is excellent and the provision of the water dispenser is great feature and has been used a lot more than I thought it would. The default temperature of 3 degrees in the fridge compartment turned out to be just a bit too low as, after a few days away, some items in the vegetable drawer had started to freeze. Needed a cheap fridge to go into a rental house with a narrow fridge gap. Our old fridge was too wide (90cm) and this one was perfect (83cm)! It looks great and has heaps of room! It actually has the same amount of internal fridge space as our old 90cm wide fridge with the added water dispenser! We were tossing up between this fridge & the LG slim fit (no water dispenser), but in the end we thought we'd save ourselves $300 and got the Haier. Its great! can't fault it as yet! Only negative is the ice maker thing is a bit of a gimmick and takes up heaps of room - we just use our normal ice trays... much easier! (the LG fridge also had the same ice-maker tray thing & is just as much of a waste of space)...

I bought this Haier 565l fridge a week ago online and I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. We had never heard of the brand (we had read that they own Fisher & Paykel though so trusted them). My only feedback in regard to delivery is to make sure you measure in store the product information says 1805 height, we found it is 1800 at the rear of the fridge and 1810 at the front doors of the fridge a small but important detail when measuring your fridge cavity. The Fridge is a beautiful satin silver and looks great and is super quiet (far quieter than our smaller Samsung we replaced) and the fridge remains at temperature all the time no matter how often we open it to browse. All in all a great fridge and especially for those who can’t fit in a larger spec one this is an excellent product and for the price it is especially great value.

We bought the silver model in February 2023. It was on sale as it was the last in stock. The first issue saw us given a new fridge (water dispenser dripped). The situation went downhill from there. As a chilling machine, this fridge does the job. However, the cheap plastic is constantly snapping and falling apart. We have had to call Product Care 6 times since Feb (it's now December) and for one of those call outs there were several issues, one of which was exacerbated by the repairman "fixing" the problem with the water dispenser by breaking off a portion of the dispenser (He did not fix the problem and had to be called out again). We bought the Haier fridge after our old Bosch unit died. As we are moving homes in the near future we didn't want to pay big bucks for what will be an interim fridge. The Haier has surprised us. It's quiet, efficient and looks great. And it cost half the price of an equivalent unit from a big name brand. Could not recommend this fridge highly enough as a value for money option.
Love this fridge. Black finish is mark free which makes the fridge presentable and easy to maintain. Setting are user friendly. Only critique is that the draws are not split in the middle meaning that you have to open both doors to access the pull out compartments. Freezer is a real highlight, great storage space with quick access draws and flash freeze settings.
Bought this around November last year. So far so good. Looks great in our kitchen. Lots of space both freezer and fridge. Only thing is (similar to other reviews) is the door alarm is very quiet, sometimes I don’t notice that the door was not shut properly and the ice maker does need improvements. Ice cubes are too small. better off buying new ice trays. Overall still happy with our fridge though. I have noticed this fridge has gone up $500 since we bought in November 2021 (approx 3 months ago) And it’s still advertising a special price.
Love the water dispenser. Love how much space there is in this fridge. Love the freezer drawers. Love the fresh storage drawer which keeps everything fresh and crisp unlike my old fridge. Getting so much more life and quality out of my fruit and vegies now. Absolutely love everything about this fridge. Excellent purchase.

Mostly well designed, freezer draws are excellent, fridge all works well and I really like the French door style. Cons: The hinges on the door cheese/ dairy compartment break constantly. The design is terrible and just a nasty piece of plastic holding the plastic door on. Falls out and has left us with two small compartments that are functionally useless. The multi zone tray at the bottom has three temperatures- meat, fish, and drinks. Strangely, the meat and fish temps are so cold it freezes anything you put in there. When you have a lounge and kitchen all in one like most apartments, you want the quietest fridge. This is for the most part. But that buzzing sound is a bit like having a mosquito in your ear once an hour - sometimes a lot more often. The other issue I had is both the door top drawers corners were not smoothed off so I cut my finger on it! The technician said - why don't I sand of the corners with sandpaper?! Um, why don't you make a fridge that doesn't cut people? They said they are replacing the drawers but not heard back yet. As I said, they said nothing can be done about the buzzing sound.
