Door layout to space is good. door shelfing works well for a family of four.Doors do not seem to seal well, and we have had to lower the fridge temp a degree to 4 From the recommended set temp of 5 degrees. So, seems to spoil the energy efficiency that was expected. Also the refrigeration compressors not that quiet to be fair.

Overall I like the design and functionality of this fridge/freezer. The look is great, the space is adequate and it serves our needs well. For the price it is pretty good.My main negative is that it has no ice making/keeping facilities (doesn't even come with an ice cube tray) and the cold water dispenser in the door is a bit dodgy. If you don't get the aim right and position your glass or bottle perfectly under it, it sprays all over the floor! No designated space for the plastic egg holders either. A bit short on shelf space on the doors, but this is due to the double door design . I am used to a one door fridge with lots of shelf space all the way down.Having said all that, I still think it is a good buy.

We have had no issues with the fridge, we love the 4 doors with the ability to change one section to a fridge or freezer. The only thing we miss, which a lot of fridges dont seem to have anymore, is the extra drawer for deli meats etc.. in terms of operation though there are no issues. The surface of the fridge is easy to clean too which is great.

One of my favourite features is the water dispenser and how it doesnt require plumbing. The water canister inside the fridge isnt as bulky as other fridges that has the same function, so it doesnt consume space and its easy to fill and keeps the water cold. Another great feature for those of you that have kids that love to push buttons is the auto lock on the digital panel, this prevents those wandering hands from changing temperature or zone settings to the refrigerator. The fridge is a great size for what we need. Love the energy rating. We were told that it wouldn't show fingerprints but unfortunately they do show up. Another thing is the right side Vege drawer can't open without opening both fridge door which is a bit of a design flaw.
Easy access to all compartments. Water dispenser is very good for cool water during hot weather months - easy enough for the children to use by themselves. Love the flexibility of the Switch zone - convertible fridge to freezer. Ample space for all our food.
I love the double opening doors in the fridge section with the wide shelves inside, perfect for entertaining or just using week to week with family meal planning, as well as the visibility from front to back, no more leftovers being forgotten. The ability to convert the fridge/freezer compartment down in the bottom section is great, if you need that extra freezer space its there, but otherwise we just use it as a fridge to store the condiments in the drawers (no more jars falling out from the shelves above) chill some wine or drinks on hand for the kids. The water dispenser is easy for the kids to use and the brushed finish stops fingerprints being visible. I love this fridge, it fits in with our lifestyle that includes equal measures of family and friends eating well.

I can now readily find anything with ease rather than standing there searching aimlessly and leftovers never get over-looked. With a 4.5 Star Energy rating the Haier beats our previous "2 star" fridge hands down for energy savings and the lockable temperature zones stop any accidental changing of the temperature, I was continually re-adjusting our previous fridge to the correct temperature. The only negative I have with the crispers is that when you want to slide out the right hand side one out you have to open both fridge doors to do so. The outer surface of the fridge looks great and is easy to clean too. Some other small cons: There is no ice-cube tray supplied and therefore no area to put one. A little disappointing that there is no designated space for the plastic egg holders either. Also a little short on shelf space in the doors Over all though a pretty well thought out design out with the flexibility to change one of the bottom freezers to a fridge being our favourite feature. Its added so much flexibility especially when we're entertaining. I totally recommend this very spacious and quiet running fridge to anyone looking to purchase.
