COVID-19 Challenge - 19 pull ups before we're free

Easier to install than doing a proper pull up! I really like this bar; simple to install, secure and versatile. Great for a pull up challenge while we are all in isolation. Not as easy as I thought!

Easy installation, great to use with a few minor things

installation was easy. Comes with a paper template that you can tape to the door sill and drill. Couple of things that I've noticed on using it:1. being able to bring down the bar helps with my young kids being able to reach and use it2. I've had to re-tighten the big screws that hold the bar to the side beams3. they promote this as a multi-position/use, but in the lowered position, it's only held by two screws, so not sure you can still put full weight

Excellent value and features

Inexpensive and easy to install, this door pull-up bar does beginning and advance pull-up training. By adjusting the bar to outside of holder you can perform beginning stage of pull-up development. Sturdy and solid construction. The best home pull-up pull-up I have ever purchased.

FACTS AND NOT OPINIONS
27 April 2020

It's really helpful and great to use especially during these times because it gives me a chance to work out and try other workouts than just push ups and sit ups. This pull up bar is really great and I am very glad I ordered it. The price of the bar was amazing especially since I had a $50 gift voucher it was easy for me to decide on something! I have already recommended this to a handful of family and friends and I know that majority of them have bought it. I really recommend this bar to anyone whos looking for pull up bars because its amazing and I don't regret buying it.

Great product, Installation issue
17 February 2019

I just installed the Pull up. It is actually pretty good and sturdy. Would even have looked better if I succeeded in putting the brackets straight. There is one bigger problem if you follow the installation instruction though. The head of the side bracket does not fit through the hole in the swing arm when aligned as instructed. You need to keep the sidearm uninstalled, put the head through the hole (of the second swing arm) and then attach the swing arm to the cross bar.The floating part in the cross bar has no center marking, so you need to interpolate the correct center position. For the brackets I recommend to use the template only for the vertical position of the brackets and mark the drill holes through the brackets themselves (this is because the template ... MoreI just installed the Pull up. Installation instructions not perfect but good
12 April 2020

Pretty good - does the trick, one step in installation was wrong had to work around that but since installation has been good, tightened screws once in a fortnight. This one is particularly good for forearms as the bar rotates

Ok but wouldn't recommend
23 May 2020

Comes with a big ugly bracket which is edited out of all of the photos. A little wobbly and when doing pull ups, the surface under your hands rotates. Ok product but wouldn't recommend for the price

Solid Construction, but a Bit Busy Cosmetically
15 February 2020

Performs as advertised. When adjusted for rows, the bar is "not" locked-in. Just FYI. Not sure how long the foam handles will last. I prefer bars w/o foam. Straight-forward setup. Overall, it is a bit busy on the door frame and "not" easily removeable. Whereas, a straight-bar that sat into cradles could be easily removed, if necessary. Again, just an FYI.

Solid. Swing arm of questionable utility.
5 May 2020

Works well and pretty solid. It's not clear what the swinging arm is meant to accomplish, though. It can't be locked at a different angle as suggested by the product image. Other than that it's a good bar.
