Harman Kardon Citation One Wireless Speaker Gray, Smart Speakers, Works with Google Assistant

Received quickly. The price is excellent for a smart speaker. Setup was easy through the Google home app. I did not find any HK own app for this speaker. As many have said. This speaker is bass heavy. It’s fine for me. I like it.

An amazing sound. Much improved product

I purchased a pair of HK Citation One MKIII. I owned the MKII version the product (returned due to numerous dramas with it and am happy to report that the MKIII version is a much improved product now. Sound is warm and mellow. I use this speakers as a stereo pair and for what I paid for the pair it is an amazing value for money.

Excellent complement to my Citation Towers

The delivery was very fast, only 4 days to Houston, Texas. The box and the whole package, very well designed and of course the product is a work of art. Without a doubt, the Harman Kardon has one of the best wireless speakers for audiophile enthusiasts. I paired the Citation ONE with my Citation Towers and the sound is amazing, and it adds more bass, which is great. Connecting the speaker to the Google house was easy because I already have the Citation tower in my app. However, the second time I turned on my Citation ONE, it did not work and all 4 LEDs started flashing. I realized that the problem was a lack of signal, so the device could not connect to the Wi-Fi network. I read some complaints about this, but I think the problem is not the speaker itself, the problem may be related to the range of your modem, the quality of your network, or the distance between the device and the modem. I am very happy with my Citation speakers and very much looking forward to completing all of my Citation sound systems. Highly recommended products for music lovers

Google Home not as good as Alexa

There is no Google integration with BBC Sounds, which is annoying when trying to replay the Archers. The Google Home integration with Spotify is not great. It can just about play you a playlist or album, but trying to make it play an individual track drives me nuts.On the positive side, the sound is good, it looks reasonable and set up was simple.It's a nice size and feels well built. The mains transformer is built-in so there is no horrible bulky power supply to plug into the socket.It could have been designed so that the cover could be cleaned or replaced - I suspect that many of these speakers will end up scrapped as soon as they get dirty, or doesn't match the decor. Great Product! No Adjustable Bass or Treble! Nice and heavy = Good Magnets!

Nice small size. Weight shows it has nice heavy manners for quality sound. Bass is VERY boomy, which is great when I'm on my own. But when friends, family or visitors come, the two speakers have too much bass! Boom! Boom! ⚠️TIP:⚠️ Use spptify equaliser or custom app if feasible!

I absolutely love it!!

It’s a recent purchase for me. I managed to get it cheaper than in most stores in Spain. For the price that I’ve purchased it, the quality, the finish, everything is marvelous. I wouldn’t ever find anything even a bit better than that.The sound is pure, clear, full with beautiful bass. It’s very good for orchestra and piano music, but also for other types. I am listening a lot to classical, and it’s a real audiophile quality sound.It can be very loud if you put it on max.I am looking forward to set it up in stereo with the second that I’ve bought as a gift to my husband.It will be a true sound blast!Amongst all of that, it has really beautiful and simple design fitting all of the places I can imagine.

Initially Great! But then... 😔

I've got three Citation One MKII speakers dotted around my house. When I first bought them in 2021, I was so impressed. Easy to connect, great to listen to all or select speakers only, and having different volumes for each speaker can be really beneficial also.Now, some two years later, there is constant connection issues. One particular speaker I have to reset almost daily. Every few weeks I'll have to completely wipe and reinstall a speaker to work. (It could be any of them) There's what I can only describe as a slight crackle in all speakers when playing - it's hard to describe, they're a bit bitty, if that makes sense. Small, powerful. Love it!

I've had it for about 3 weeks now, and I'm never letting it go!The design is stunning. I've got the grey one, and it fits perfectly into our modern home. It feels very well made. The fabric is nice to the touch, the metal on top is sturdy and it's heavy. This speaker has become my go-to to listen to music at home. Even though it's small enough to fit almost anywhere, it still packs a punch! The music is really well balanced, and there's no lack of bass.I'm not loving the touch controls on top of the speaker so I just use voice commands or the Google Home app.The only downfall of this speaker is also it's biggest feature, the Google Assistant. But the future looks bright though, it's frequently updated and with the updates comes more stability and features! Therefore I'm still going to give the speaker an Excellent rating.

I had read reviews of the Harman Kardon Citation One and they all glowed, but we all know that many things are subjective and reviews can be slanted for lots of reason. I'm telling you this speaker blows me away in it's sound quality! I own many smart speakers from the original Google Home and Mini, to Sony and Insignia, and this is one is in a different class. I plugged it in and set it up on my Google Home network, which took all of three to four minutes, and requested one of my playlists. From the first notes it floored me with so many things. Clarity, volume, deep rich bass(not overblown as one review put it), and great highs and sweet mid-range tones. Nothing seemed out of balance to me.
