Used to be customer of H&S menthol for more than 2 decades until recent years they changed the menthol scent. It used to have this neutral menthol fragrance, now it smells like mens deodorant. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Finally found a product that works for me, thanks to HTC! This shampoo is so refreshing and nourishing for my hair and scalp. I've had for the longest time been looking for a combo shampoo and conditioner that gets rid of my itchy, dry scalp and dandruff. I had a habit of picking my head everywhere I go without realising it and disgustingly leaving flakes everywhere I sit. After just the first wash, not even used the leave-on yet, and I've just realised I haven't touched my scalp at all! I checked my scalp, I still have a few flakes here and there but holy moly the itching is gone! My partner and my mum love them too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Two people in our household have tested this product over a period of nearly three weeks, washing our hair every two days in the first week and reducing to twice a week after that. My son has especially bad dandruff and suffers from a very itchy scalp. He was noticing a big difference after three washes, with the itch almost unnoticeable and the dandruff greatly improved. Another two weeks down the track and he says he is not seeing ANY dandruff and the itch is gone. I rarely get dandruff, but my scalp does get very itchy and oily. I am no longer dealing with the itch and my hair goes longer without being noticeably oily. Would definitely recommend this product for people with problem scalps.

I assumed my scalp may have been too dried out from using just shampoo so I did the wash again but this time I followed up with a head and shoulders conditioner. This made a huge difference. I felt that it helped my scalp far better then just using the shampoo alone and balanced out my scalp from being to oily and too dry. The shampoo has a very refreshing tingling mint sensation on the scalp and a nice smell. It lathers up really well with just a small amount of product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I'm surprised I haven't seen (or noticed) this product before on the supermarket shelf. Otherwise, I would've gotten this ages ago. The shampoo itself has a fragrant smell and becomes very foamy when being used. I noticed a big difference when using this shampoo, and the relative conditioner and after-shower spray together. My head hasn't been itchy, the dandruff flakes that I used to ALWAYS have, has disappeared. I've used so many brands and prescription brands even but this is the only one that actually worked and continuously work even when it's not used daily.

It’s been great at tackling my dandruff and dry scalp yet still moisturising it at the same time. I did feel this particular shampoo may have been slightly stronger and therefore over-dried and dehydrated my hair and scalp. In my opinion it would be better suited to someone with an oily scalp. The conditioner is a must after using this shampoo. Would recommend buying the original Head & Shoulders over this range as that seems to be more nourishing leading to shiny-looking healthier hair whilst still keeping dandruff at bay.
