Headphones Apple AirPods Max Grey

I got my Apple AirPods Max as a Christmas gift, I have to admit they are one of the best audio products I've ever owned. The first thing that impressed me was their design - they look and feel incredibly premium, with a sleek and modern aesthetic that screams Apple. The AirPods Max are also incredibly comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time. The ear cups are made of a soft and breathable material that fits snugly over the ears, and the headband is adjustable to ensure a perfect fit. I also love the fact that the ear cups are magnetic, which makes it easy to swap them out for cleaning or customization. When it comes to sound quality, the AirPods Max are nothing short of phenomenal. The active noise cancellation is also incredibly effective, blocking out even the noisiest of environments and allowing me to fully immerse myself in my music. Another standout feature of the AirPods Max is their integration with other Apple products. They seamlessly connect to my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook, and the automatic switching feature means that I can easily switch between devices without having to manually disconnect and reconnect. The on-head detection is also a handy feature that automatically pauses playback when you take the headphones off and resumes when you put them back on. One potential downside of the AirPods Max is their price - they are definitely a premium product with a premium price tag. However, in my opinion, they are worth every penny for the quality of the sound and the overall user experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Apple AirPods Max to anyone looking for a high-quality pair of headphones that deliver exceptional sound quality and a seamless user experience. Whether you're a music lover, an audiophile, or just someone who appreciates good design and great technology, these headphones are an excellent choice.

Best wireless over ear headphones available

I absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. They’re absolutely top quality headphones that any audiophile would love and appreciate, and they’re also absolutely gorgeous and beautifully designed, as all Apple products are. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to ... MoreI absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to your music or watch videos/movies without any background noise affecting and disturbing you. I also like the controls on the headphones themselves, as it’s very simple and intuitive. There’s a dedicated button just for the noise canceling and transparency modes as well as a small dial similar to what’s on Apple Watches that controls volume as well as play/pause, skip/next track and previous track, and also allows you to summon Siri as well as answer or decline and end calls (you also can do all call and text functions by voice, as well as Siri reading out incoming texts to you) these headphones also work with Apples spatial audio and head tracking, which can be turned on/off any time, but it unfortunately is a feature only available when used with an Apple device, and one other cool feature only available with Apple devices is the Find My feature, which allows you to be able to always see where your headphones are on a map in the event you lose them, so it helps make sure you’re never going to lose these and always be able to find them, which is an awesome feature. The final Apple exclusive feature is the way that it connects to your device; you just place your device near the headphones and it automatically pops up on there and connects, making it extremely simple, easy, and fast. It also never ever loses its connection ever, regardless of how long you use them. But it’s just as simple and easy to connect to non Apple devices as any other Bluetooth headphone; you just turn on Bluetooth and hold down a button on the headphones to put it in pairing mode and then connect it to your device and its paired. The battery life on these are excellent as well, lasting for up to ~25 hours on a full charge when using full noise cancellation and near full volume. They’re also very comfortable to wear, with nice soft earcups made from comfy memory foam material and an extra soft headband with thin mesh material inside it to allow full airflow and prevents any sort of sweating like a leather headband would. Best Buy also offers 3 month trials of Apple Music/TV/News whenever you buy these, which is an awesome added bonus. They also have the cheapest price on these and often times will have them on sale for even cheaper-so if you see them and they’re on sale I highly suggest buying them before that sale ends! But in the unlikely event you find these for cheaper at another store or website, Best Buy will price match them-even if you’ve already bought them and then later notice they’re cheaper somewhere else, which is what I did when I bought these. I noticed a week later they were $40 cheaper on Amazon and I provided the proof to a team member on an online chat and they immediately adjusted my price for these to match that sale price. It was really cool how they did that for me and made my overall experience with buying these even better than it already was.

Great almost Exceptional, but that price!

Amazing noise cancellation! The AirPods Max delivers exceptional noise cancellation, creating an immersive listening experience. However, the audio quality is good, but not exceptional. I find myself wishing I could turn up the volume even more. Comparing it to the Beats by Dre, the AirPods Max is definitely superior, but the price is hard to justify. The bass is solid, and the highs are crisp, but I really wish it had a bit more volume. Additionally, the over-ear design is comfortable even for my XXL head, but it tends to make me feel hot after extended use.One of the standout features is the seamless integration with Apple products. I only had to add the AirPods Max to my Mac once, and it automatically became available on my other devices when they were in proximity. A notable experience was when I was using the headphones on my Mac and received a phone call on my iPhone. Surprisingly, my iPhone allowed me to answer the call directly on the AirPods Max, enhancing convenience. However, there is one disappointment: the Max did not provide the same level of integration with non-Apple devices. It would have been great to have that seamless connectivity across different platforms.Another aspect worth mentioning is the battery life. The AirPods Max boasts impressive battery performance, providing several hours of continuous usage on a single charge. The quick charging feature is also convenient when you're in a hurry and need to power up the headphones quickly.Comfort-wise, the AirPods Max excels with its well-designed over-ear cushions. They fit comfortably around my ears without causing any discomfort, even during long listening sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit and accommodates different head sizes. However, as mentioned earlier, the downside is that it can get a bit warm, especially during extended use.In terms of design, the AirPods Max showcases Apple's signature sleek and modern aesthetics. The premium materials used in its construction give it a luxurious feel, and the attention to detail is evident. The intuitive controls, including the Digital Crown, provide easy access to volume adjustments and playback controls. To sum it up, the AirPods Max delivers exceptional noise cancellation, good audio quality, and seamless integration with Apple devices. However, the high price point may deter some potential buyers, considering there are comparable options available at a more affordable price. If you're deeply invested in the Apple ecosystem and prioritize a seamless user experience, the AirPods Max might still be worth considering.

Totally mediocre, not worth the price

Sound, noise cancelling, and comfort are good/great, but there are some major functional drawbacks for how I use them that make me regret the purchase. I have used the Bose QuietComfort 35 II for the last several years, which is what I'm comparing to. The biggest issue for me, given how I use the headphones, is the fact that they cannot connect to multiple devices at once. My main use case is for work, where I'll mostly use them for music and conference calls from my computer, and also for calls and audio on my phone. The fact that I have to manually switch between the two is frustrating because it is something that I need to do regularly throughout the course of the day, and it seems like such a basic feature. The fact that I have to manually switch between the two is frustrating because it is something that I need to do regularly throughout the course of the day, and it seems like such a basic feature. The Bose QC35s do not have this issue. As other reviewers have noted, the case and power setup is really not good. These should have an on/off power button. Why should I need to put the headphones back in the case (if you can actually call it a case) to ensure that the power isn't draining? At least with the AirPods the case is also a charger. The case is only minimally protective, so Apple effectively opted for this case to be the power button rather than putting something on the headphones themselves. I'd much rather have that small power button on the headphones, rather than a basically useless case. While these headphones are comfortable, they are quite heavy. When I use my Bose QC35s I'm shocked how much lighter they feel than the AirPods Max. The AirPods Max do feel and look higher quality, but I'm not sure if that's worth it. Audio and mic are good/great, but only marginally better than the Bose QC35s, and not enough to offset the price difference or the other issues noted above.
