You can't find xylitol at this price anywhere in the world!!! I used to buy xylitol in many different places with different prices (looking for the lowest and most attractive price) until I decided to try to do an online search in the hope of finding at the lowest possible price.... luckily I also searched at Walmart and I was so excited to find it here at a very cheap price !!!!... It's like buying diamond dust at the price of crystal dust. It is highly recommended !! Since then I regularly buy only this. At first when I bought it was 10 Lb. for 50 dollars. Now the price has gone up to 55... even if the price goes up to 70... it will still be considered super cheap... Eh. I don't think I'm going to buy this again. It didn't taste bad, but the consistency was weird. I made glaze for muffins. It was more like a fondant. I had to keep adding more "powered sugar" to it, and had a very hard time getting it to get thick. I'd rather use real powered sugar and just use less. Don't recommend.

This is what I expected. I like that it is not from corn. The package seems to contradict itself. On the front it says ‘from birch or other trees.’ The smaller print on the back says ‘exclusively from birch trees’.Would like to know country of origin but can’t seem to find that indicated. This leaves me questioning why this significant information is not stated

Deceptive Product Description/Labeling
6 May 2024

I assumed the product title would be accurate. It’s labeled “Real Birch Xylitol”. However, plainly printed on the front, which I did not notice – it states, “Made From Birch OR Other Trees.“ That means that there doesn’t have to be any birch-based in it. I don’t know what I received. The ingredients list only indicates “Xylitol”. If it’s birch xylitol, say so. If not, be honest, and tells us. Not happy. Will not buy again.

Wonderful product.. Tastes like sugar, low calorific value.. Noticing results re oral health and plaque bio film. reduction re oral health re protocol on You Tube for oral health . Excellent quality and highly recommended as both a sweetner and oral health. Supposedly a naturally derived product.

Highly recommend

I love this product: have ordered it several times. It is very hard to find xylitol that is birch based, not corn. My naturopath has stressed importance of using only birch based,. Price is good. Taste is excellent. It’s the only sweetener we keep in house and most visitors think it is sugar. Good quality product.

Sugar substitute !!
10 July 2023

Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol found in plants, including many fruits and vegetables. It has a sweet taste and is often used as a sugar substitute. Xylitol tastes sweet but, unlike sugar, it doesn't cause tooth decay. It reduces levels of decay-causing bacteria in saliva and also acts against some bacteria that cause ear infections. It's widely used in "sugar-free" chewing gums, mints, and other candies. Vey recommended !!!

so much like real sugar!
14 December 2022

all natural, just one ingredient.perfect for diabetics.seems identical to real sugar, and when measuring for cooking, it is 1 to 1.BUT IT HAS LOTS OF HEALTH BENEFITS and no known health drawbacks!this actually HELPS dental health.it doesn't mix into some cold foods as easily as sugar (which liquifies easily on contact with moist ingredients), but that's the only drawback i could mention!there's 0 bad taste, and no aftertaste! i consider this an amazing sugar substitute.
