It's derived from non-GMO sources, which adds to the overall appeal for those seeking natural and wholesome ingredients in their food choices. The fact that it has zero glycemic impact is also a bonus for individuals who follow a low-carb or ketogenic lifestyle. In terms of performance, Health Garden's Allulose Sweetener behaves similarly to sugar in recipes. It dissolves easily and blends well, making it suitable for baking, cooking, and sweetening beverages. I have successfully used it in various desserts, such as cookies, cakes, and even homemade ice cream, with great results. It caramelizes nicely and contributes to the desired texture in baked goods. The 14 oz (397 g) size is generous and provides a good amount of product for regular use. The packaging is sturdy and resealable, ensuring the sweetener remains fresh and easily accessible. While the price point may be slightly higher than conventional sugar, the benefits and versatility of Health Garden's All-Natural Allulose Sweetener make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a healthier alternative. One thing to note is that, like most sugar substitutes, a little goes a long way. It is slightly less sweet than sugar, so you may need to adjust the quantity in recipes accordingly. Additionally, some individuals may experience digestive effects from consuming allulose in large amounts, so it's recommended to use it in moderation.Overall, Health Garden's All-Natural Allulose Sweetener offers a natural and delicious alternative to traditional sugar. With its clean taste, natural sourcing, and versatility in various recipes, it provides a guilt-free option for those seeking to reduce their sugar intake. I highly recommend giving it a try and exploring the many ways you can enjoy this delightful sweetener.

Even my non-keto family like it!

Something I could not say about any other sweetener I have tried before.I will be purchasing Health Garden Allulose again. Perhaps other brands are as good, but I know this one is as good as I have ever had.

Allulose is a fantastic sweetener that I have recently discovered and I am absolutely in love with it. Not only does it taste deliciously sweet like sugar, but it also has very few calories and does not cause any spikes in blood sugar levels. This makes it a perfect choice for anyone looking for a healthier alternative to sugar. What I love about Allulose is that it has the same sweetness as regular sugar. It also does not leave any aftertaste nor the cooling sensation from erythritol, which is something I have experienced with other sweeteners in the past. I use in some of my low calorie baking recipes (like brownies), and it works perfectly every time.Additionally, Allulose is a natural sweetener that is found in small quantities in some fruits, including figs ... MoreAllulose is a fantastic sweetener that I have recently discovered and I am absolutely in love with it. Good

Allulose is the king of sweeteners, great for baking cakes, cupcakes. It dissolves easily, so we love it in coffee, tea, cocktails. 1 teaspoon is equal to 70% of a teaspoon of sugar. You won't find that strange aftertaste that many alternatives to sugar can have.A complete replacement of sugar without harm to the body. Suitable for diabetics. Keto diet. Reduction of body fat. Does not increase the glycemic index.

Good addition to my alternative sweetener arsenal
31 January 2023

I use this in my proprietary blend of sweeteners, alongside stevia, erythritol, xylitol, monkfruit, coconut sugar, date sugar etc. It’s about 70% as sweet as sugar and doesn't have effects on blood sugar or insulin response.Several studies so far have indicated that allulose is likely safe when consumed in moderation. Still, some research has suggested downsides of allulose in certain situations, such as a potential link to muscle cell injury with exercise. So, I'd suggest you don't use this as your only sweetener. It's better to mix several different sweeteners.

I like this product, but not as much as I did Xylitol, which was the first sugar-alternative I found that tastes like sugar. Two years ago I began using 2 teaspoons of Xylitol daily after reading it was a 'safe' and ‘natural’ alternative to fruit sugars which all rot the teeth. However, recently I investigated Xylitol further and found that it’s not ‘natural’ as its manufacturers claim. It cannot be metabolised by the liver, so the liver stores it...which can be dangerous long-term as Xylitol can cause liver shrinkage. Whether one uses two teaspoons a day or 2 tablespoons a day, the threat to health is ultimately the same.I stopped using Xylitol immediately and investigated other sugar alternatives, which is how I found allulose. Whether one uses two teaspoons a day or 2 tablespoons a day, the threat to health is ultimately the same.I stopped using Xylitol immediately and investigated other sugar alternatives, which is how I found allulose. Unfortunately, allulose is also not considered a ‘natural’ sugar alternative but it appears to be much safer than Xylitol. It’s not a sugar alcohol as Xylitol is (something I didn’t know when I began using it). Allulose is not absorbed by the liver but bypasses it and goes straight to the intestines. I’ve read that both Xylitol and Allulose can cause gas or bloating. I’ve experience neither of these with either of them, possibly because I use only small amounts.I’ve learnt that the only two sugar alternatives that are both natural and don’t cause cavities are stevia and monk fruit. I’ve tried stevia a few times over a period of about ten years, each time trying a different brand, and I cannot stand the aftertaste, though I know it’s popular and loved by many. Monk fruit I can tolerate only when mixed with another sweetener, as I find it has an overly-sweet aftertaste when used on its own. Monk fruit and Xylitol was the perfect combination for me, now I’m using a blend of monk fruit and allulose but have to use more allulose than I did Xylitol, which ultimately makes allulose a pricier buy.I look forward to a reasonably-priced ‘natural’ sugar alternative coming to market one of these days that tastes as good as sugar without the cavities.

When I looked into the characteristics of allulose. I suddenly came up making some low-carb coconut candies.I actually made those coconut candies this afternoon with 80g of this powdered allulose, 400g fresh coconut milk, 24g coconut butter, 1 tsp homemade vanilla extract and 1g pink salt. I put the mixture into my saucepan and started from medium heat to bring it to simmer. Then I stirred with my silicone spatula to make sure everywhere was heated evenly. With more water evaporated, it became sticky and the color turned brown. I stopped when it started sticking to the bottom of my pan. Then I cut it into pieces and wrapped then into my precut parchment paper, put them in refrigerating for harden. They turned out very fragrant and chewy, like toffees but chewier. The sweetness is not like the ones you got from the shop, but for me and my family, they are satisfying and enjoying. The white stuff on candy surface was frozen coconut oil from coconut butter.
