After 12 years my husbands HH shell jacket was no longer waterproof. Cue perfect Christmas present. He absolutely loves it.. comfortable, warm, brilliant yellow. Highly recommend. Sizing seems true to size.

My wife bought me one for my birthday whilst on holiday. The cuffs are wearing through after less than 3 months occasional wearing. The stitching is also beginning to fray as well. My first HH jacket had not impressed us. To be frank I've worn Naultilus (cheaper brand) for years before they show signs of wear. Sorry HH, I'm not impressed with you premium quality.

Love this jacket, it's a perfect design, style, fit and colour for me. However, the quality of the internal waterproof membrane (white rubber/polyurethane) is severely lacking as it eventually breaks into pieces. The jacket is just 2 years old and it happened with a previous one of the same style, but I thought I'd made an error with its care or it was just the luck of the draw, but as this has happened again it clearly shows the material used is substandard. The rest of the jacket though is still perfect, but it's now only fit for the bin. Sadly I won't be buying another.
Helly hansen will have my loyal support for how well they value me as a return customer. They are very helpful any time I have a problem and they fix it right away.The jacket is perfect for what I need. Nice warm lined pockets, elastic to tighten hood and waistline. Also can tightent he cufflinks. Great for keeping rain out. I have not been in a crazy midwestern rain storm yet but I have confidence it will hold up.
Nice coat. Doesn’t run small as some of the reviews allude to. Ordered one size up and it was way too large. Exchanged for my normal size and it was perfect. Excellent customer service and easy smooth exchange.
So I normally couldn't afford a Helly Hansen Jacket but this one was in the John Lewis sale. Been looking for a decent waterproof jacket for walking the dogs with and I have found the perfect. It's light and comfortable with enough pockets for the essentials things for dog walking. Glad it was in the sale!!!
The Dubliner is a well-designed casual jacket completely waterproof, windproof, and very light in weight. Thus, an excellent companion during all the seasons of the year but winter, when an extra layer of insulation underneath the jacket would be advisable. Its size could be smaller than expected. So, I recommend using the size finder tool at Helly Hansen's website before buying it. As well as the other products I have bought from Helly Hansen, buying this jacket was a good investment due to the overall quality of the product and its durability.

Before purchasing, I read many reviews that characterized the fit as "they run small," but I'm not sure what their criteria was based on. I'm 5'11", 137 lbs and the small size fit perfectly. One great feature of HH on-line orders is that shipping is free for purchases and returns. I ordered a small and a medium, since the size selector tool put me right in the middle. After making my choice, returning the medium was hassle-free and didn't cost me a thing. Also love the ruggedness and colour of the outer shell. What a top jacket. This is the second one I’ve owned (burnt the first one by accident). Did not consider any other jacket.Great fit, very comfortable and warm, looks great.
