Hercules GS200B EZPack Acoustic/Electric Guitar Stand

Neat design and a very good alternative to the now-unavailable Shubb TAL1. Solid, strong construction, meaty hinge, will take anything from a big fat western acoustic to a small solid body guitar. That could be described as a weakness, being a compromise. Can't say I see it that way, though. It folds down to about 10" x 1.5" x 3" so it's almost coat pocket-sized. Maybe it's not the best choice for serious gigs but for that you really need a big rack / hanger unit.

This is a sturdy light weight mobile piece of kit. It supports the guitar very well and it sits on the stand with out slipping about . It folds up to a very convenient size so it can easily be transported in a gig bag. It seems very robust but I have no idea of it longevity because I have only just purchased it.

Good Stand

Mine was a Christmas present so I've no idea where it was sourced, maybe Am*z*n? I was alerted to these stands by a well known "Pro" player, and having owned a number of Hercules stands I was already a convert to the quality. Mine is stiff when spreading the legs but I'm sure it'll slacken off in use. As an assembly of plastic mouldings it is of above average quality. The owner needs to use a little caution in use- you cannot just plonk a guitar on it, you need to ensure that it is sitting upright. It would not offer much protection from accidental elbows etc, but then a Hercules grab stand won't fit in a gig bag, so it's horses for courses. Great product at great price

I am totally impressed with this guitar stand. I am a beginner guitar player so have been putting off buying any "extras" until I decided if guitar was for me. So when I finally decided to get a stand, I wanted to get something that wasn't going to break the bank. This stand has good reviews and was a reasonable price. But you know.... you get what you pay for. Right? Well, in this case I feel like I got WAY more than I paid for. The stand is light, very portable (folds down flat and fits easily in the bag I carry my music, etc. in), is incredibly stable, and the foam pads hole the guitar very securely. I am 100% happy with it and couldn't recommend it more!

Hercules EZ Foldable Acoustic Stand is a winner!

Value for money and well built guitar stand. Well designed and easy to transport and use. Too many people have their guitars damaged because they have leaned their guitars against tables or chairs, this solves that problem. I have used many types of guitar stands, all with advantages and disadvantages. This stand is one of my favourites, it's biggest strength is portability and cost. It's an inexpensive solution and easy to transport - a winner!

Light, durable, and holds the guitars pretty tight. Gets the job done.

Shipped quickly, works easily. Very light, but durable. It seems to hold my different guitars nice and snug, and it folds up really easily. It's a little expensive for being just all plastic, but I definitely prefer it out of my foldable stands.

Really good compact guitar (instrument) stand

This guitar/instrument stand is very compact and yet stable when deployed. It is made completely of plastic with rubber on surfaces where there is a need for protection or anti-slip. I have used it as a stand for mandolin, bass uke, various electric guitars through to Jumbo 12 string acoustic and it is stable for all of these, however, it cannot accommodate small instruments e.g. concert uke, violin. The clever pop cleats automatically constrain thin bodied instruments so they do not tip back too far. My only minor issue is the plastic post, designed to keep the stand in its closed state, was broken when it arrived but, in my opinion, it has no real function and I am surprised they complicated the injection mould for it since the main hinge is stiff enough to keep ... MoreThis guitar/instrument stand is very compact and yet stable when deployed. Review of Hercules GS200B EZpack Stand for Electric & Acoustic Guitars

I keep one of these in each guitar case so I’m never without a stand. I’ve had one in daily use for about 3 years now and it’s still working perfectly. Got rid of all my other bulky stands. Great for acoustic and electric but not so stable with my jazz bass, but that has a slightly asymmetrical lower bout.

Very compact, but not very stable

This stand is very compact when folded, and it has more than enough fore-and-aft stability for a short scale electric bass.However it allows some guitars to fall sideways if they are more than about 15 degrees from vertical.

Works!

I bought this because we travel and a guitar usually comes with me. Regular stands are bigger and less convenient. When this arrived I was pleasantly surprised at its sturdiness because it didn't look too sturdy. But I opened it and put my Taylor on it and IT STAYED in place as advertised! I kept waiting for it to topple over backwards or even sideways but it stayed put. Now whatever guitar I'm playing today is sitting in this stand. No more strap getting caught on the legs or holder. About the only thing I might consider is a soft pad where the guitar leans against the stand, but even that would just be for my peace of mind. As of this writing it is neatly folded in my trunk for a trip north.
