I love love love this perfume and I cannot stop smelling myself since I sprayed it on. It’s a sophisticated soapy /floral/woody fragrance. If you like Chanel no. 5, you would probably like this too. Great longevity and sillage. I have given this 5 stars because I am obviously partial to this beautiful perfume but I will also add that For some time, I have not been able to buy the Hermes Caleche Soie de Parfum or the original EDT in Australia’s leading department store, so I was very happy to find that Cosmetics Now stocked it. So, if I could rate the store’s service separately, i would give another 5 stars for the range of perfume and the very fast delivery. It’s a pleasure to wear this, lots of compliments received too.

This perfume is seriously the best ever created. If you want to stand out leave a lasting impression.....wear this!! I have worn it for years now and still do. There has never been a place and still isn't a place.... that I go into that someone doesn't compliment my perfume and inquire about what I'm wearing. It also lasts forever and I'm not exaggerating either! I do prefer it in the parfum spray only. It's not cheap but worth every penny... no doubt. I wear it year round too.

I'm not an expert at describing the notes in fragrances. I'm in my 50's and I'm just learning. I wore perfume in my 20's and I recall wearing Poison, which has a stronger scent than this one. I find this fragrance to be a lot more subtle and lighter. But very appealing. That being said, I also don't think it lasts very long. Pretty much within the hour, I was not smelling much of it anymore but I would get a lingering waft of it every now and then and thought it still smelled very pleasant. I read somewhere that it was recommended for evening wear but in my opinion I would and have worn it during the day. I don't think it has enough staying power for evenings. This is just one girl's point of view.

This scent has been the choice of my wife since the 1960s. It seemed to be unobtainable for a few years but has now re-appeared.It's unique aroma remains as effective as ever. Thank you Hermes!
The highlight of being back in the office is my lunchtime stroll around John Lewis. A few weeks ago I decided to sample the Hermes' perfumes. Best decision ever. This scent reminded me of happy times, don't know why but I had to have it. I bought it and use everyday. When ever I pass the bottle I have a skoosh so go and try it out you won't regret it.
The first time I tried iCaleche was in a Parfumerie im Germany. I purchased the Soie de Parfum and have loved it ever since. It is a very captivating scent in which you do not need much. The dry down smells powdery and of sandalwood. I just received a compliment on it the other day, " You smell sooo good" I am thrilled that Neimans carries this incredible luxurious fragrance. It is most certainly not your run of the mill fragrance. A very classy, chic and one of a kind fragrance from Hermes. The bottle I received however did not come with the gold cap but a black one. It is still the same beautiful scent that I have loved for years.. Thank you Neimans ❤️
I love the Soie de Parfum version of Caleche. It's the best style of the scent. Subtle and sexy. I have actually had women ask me what it is, and tell me it smells expensive. A classy perfume.
Happy to have found this @ Bloomies as it seems to be disappearing-it is absolutely the most classic, sophisticated fragrance ever. It never fails to get compliments & is never tiresome nor overbearing. If I had to pick one thing to wear (and I am a fragrance junkie w/ a significant fragrance wardrobe), Calechewould be it. Wish they still made bath creme, lotion, talc, deodorant, soap & all other iterations. Do not ever let this wonderful fragrance disappear.
This perfume is heavenly and popular. I love love it and have used it over the years. It's my go to. I have tried new perfumes but I seem to always veer back to Caleche. The smell of the perfume is warm and makes you feel pampered. It definitely smells better in the winter. I love wearing it to weddings.I am glad I managed to get this bottle as I had gone round to many shops where it was sold out.
Wonderful vintage perfume! It's an EDT but it has good village and lasts for hours. Solid woody floral that turns a bit powdery in the dry down but only a bit. I love love love the sandlewood in this! Even my husband who never notices scents on average said this one was really nice. I have a more modern version of Caleche, the EDP, but it doesn't come close to the beauty of the vintage version...so so glad I got it!
