Hifiman Ananda Nano Planar Magnetic Headphones
The Ananda Nano by Hifiman is a magnetostatic headphone featuring an ultra-thin diaphragm that delivers groundbreaking sound quality. The nanometer-thin diaphragm is based on the renowned Susvara design, providing very low distortion, excellent transient response, and particularly high dynamics and detail fidelity. Unlike traditional dynamic headphones, the super-thin diaphragm surface of the Ananda Nano allows for more precise sound reproduction with less phase distortion and greater spatial information. With an impressive frequency range of 5 Hz to 55 kHz, the Ananda Nano creates a three-dimensional soundscape that immerses the listener and evokes an atmosphere akin to a live performance. The Ananda Nano is equipped with special magnets that, unlike conventional magnets, do not produce interference. The unique shape of the stealth magnets allows sound waves to pass through without compromising their integrity. Hifiman's advanced magnet design reduces wave diffraction turbulence, resulting in pure, precise, and voluminous sound reproduction. The grille design of the ear cups minimizes sound reflections, ensuring clear audio. The asymmetrical ear cups conform to the natural shape of the human ear for a comfortable fit. The headband of the Ananda Nano has been carefully designed to distribute weight evenly and provide excellent long-term comfort. Weighing 419 grams and featuring a sleek matte black finish, the Ananda Nano combines durability with aesthetic elegance. The Ananda Nano is compatible with a wide range of devices and offers high sensitivity along with astonishing sound quality.

Mid is good. Low is quite good. High is due the way to produce a sound it’s feels like less decay compares with traditional coil design. Sense of location is very good, but it’s still lacking overall sound stage. So far I couldn’t find any headphone (or systems)can produce a soundstage like a stereo system. I bi-wiring everything on my stereo system. Use halcro mc 50 to drive headphones directly.

You can experience a transformation in sound quality by removing the black cloth on the outside of the headphone drivers and sealing the areas where air leaks from the front chamber.

bass might be a bit light for some music but can still hit hard.if you have a super wide head the clamp might be a bit much, for me out of the box it took about 2 hours of use to loosen up enough to not bother me.super responsive and solid staging.it has been my daily driver for almost 2 weeks for gaming and music and am not disappointed.
