The build quality is great, and the size is just perfect for my son as a school bag to fit into his locker. A 14-inch laptop fits well inside and it also contains many compartments to keep his school bag organized. In addition, side pocket is a plus to put his water bottle. All in all, my son loves it.

This backpack has been thoughtfully designed to suit people who need to carry laptop. The main compartment has 2 top zipper opening: one is the regular opening, the other one is near the back straps, from which the laptop can be easily to be taken in and out. Lightweight and comfortable. High quality material and well made. My daughter, a CS college student, told me this backpack is perfect and she loves so much! This is a backpack makes me touched!! Thank you, High Sierra. My kids only wants backpacks from High Sierra!

I purchased this backpack for my high school daughter. She said she enjoys the backpack except for the "device pocket". From the website pictures, we thought the device pocket was a separate compartment from the rest of the backpack. It simply is a separate zipper to access the device within the main compartment. Other than that, I am glad I made this purchase.

This bag is suitable for school/uni or travel. It just the right size and a good value for money. Unfortunately, one of the front zippers was getting stuck in the fabric so I had to return it. I think was an odd faulty bag but I will still recommend it if everything is working fine.
Great for work (and travel!) Really decent space and number of compartments. Happy with the quality for the price. Was surprised how it doesn't actually look bulky even though it has such a large capacity.I have another backpack which is about the same size but looks considerably larger than this (to me anyway)
We've bought several High Sierra backpacks for school, and they've all been great. The Jarvis pack has a large enough capacity for our kid's stuff, but the pack keeps things close to the back so there's not an uncomfortable cantilever effect like with some packs we've tried. We only retired the previous HS pack because after 3 years of everyday rough use, it finally had enough wear that some of the external pockets had torn. Otherwise, it's still in good shape. We're hoping that this pack lasts as long, and from its sturdy-looking construction, I'm optimistic.
Amazing backpack used for our trip to NYC - perfect for carry-on luggage and as a daily pack. Love the organisation of the compartments including easy access large laptop zip at the back and all the smaller pockets at the front and on the sides. Great quality and with a great warranty from High Sierra, would highly recommend and buy from again!
It's a top notch bag !Perfect bag for a high schooler :)Lots of pockets ,fits perfect for 11.5" school laptops, little music instruments (flute)and still have lots of space for those school textbooks and home made lunch. The fact that the bag well padded, it gives good support on your back which I found so hard to find a durable bag with good support padding these days with so many different brand out there. On top of that .. It's waterproof:)I trust this bag will last many years :)
Good quality backpack - took a little longer than expected for delivery but very happy with the black Jarvis Backpack. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is we ordered another backpack but that wasn't available and although we got a refund, it would have been nice to have someone contact us to let us know the product was no longer available. Otherwise, happy with product
This backpack is quite handy and is the tight size, not too big, not too small. It is quite versatile and roomy to accommodate pretty much all the things you need for a short trip or a day outing. It is of good quality. Highly recommend this bag.
