My cat randomly started having urinary issues to include blood in his urine, foul urine smell, accidents outside the box and straining to urinate. The vet could not find an underlying cause but recommended the urinary care prescription food. Within two days the blood was gone and the accidents stopped. His urine still has a stronger smell but this food has done miracles! I skipped one meal on accident and immediately the blood returned. If your cat has urinary issues this food is worth a try. I didn’t even have to ween him on to the food. This food has been gentle on his stomach and GI. It’s unfortunate the food is on the pricey side but you can’t put a price on a cats life or pain!

My 9-year-old sister tuxedo cats have to be on a prescription diet for bladder stones. They are picky eaters, so I was worried about them refusing to eat. They both like this food. It is pricey, which I think comes with the territory of special diets, but they are healthy and happy.

Fat cat likes this now getting trimmer

She seems a bit thinner after the vet put her on this. She likes the flavour. She is fairly fussy. Normally only eats Fancy Feast, doesn't like the other supermarket wet foods. Tho does like kibbles which are like potato chips in my opinion- everyone likes them but they are so bad for your health.

Fat cat lost weight!

My Chonky boy is obsessed with food and will literally eat anything! I put him on metabolic wet and dry and have finally seen weight loss results! He was over 8.5kg and is now down to 7.4kg and a healthy BCS of 3.5. He's far more active and does a lot more than just sleep since being on nothing but metabolic. I won't use anything other than the Hills brand for my cats now.

Great product, great value

Having being recently advised from a trip to see the vet with an unhappy cat that I needed to buy a specific food that would aid in his recovery and wellbeing. I have 2 cats and figured it would be easier to feed them both the same rather than investing special bowls that work of their microchips. I bought a smaller bag of the Hill's Prescription Diet C/D Urinary Stress food initially to test and can say that both of the cats love it; hence the big bag! The one who needs it is a much happier cat these days and I would very much recommend the product.

Kidney and Bladder Stone Buster

My poor 9 year old girl had bladder and kidney stones and cystitis. She was so poorly and uncomfortable! She had treatment under anaesthetic and this food was recommended by our vet to clear up any tiny particles and to prevent the stones reoccurring. At first she wasn't sure about her new food but with perseverance we have cracked it! She has been healthy and happy ever since! You can teach an old girl new tricks! Delighted!

Main Ingredient is not Chicken as labeled

Why misrepresent the product by saying its chicken when the main ingredient is pork? That is the most disgusting thing to feed a sick animal. Why don't you go and eat pork pate when you're sick. Pigs are the most closely related to our DNA, why would you want too feed that your cats. Thats just so gross.

My fur baby LOVES theses biscuits.

Great product, great packaging.. (5KG bag.). The velcro strip keeps the bag sealed and the biscuits fresh. My fur baby LOVES these biscuits. Maybe there could be a way to make the bag made from recycled ♻ products ? 🤔 (It might be made from recycled ♻ products, I am not sure.).

I've had years worth of problems with my Tortoise shell. She is now 10 and I have had to move out of our family home. She has never moved before. With this product she has not gotten a uti or stressed. She happy and content. It keeps her at a reasonable weight and she doesn't feel hungry (she use to cry for more after the stress/urinery care sachets) she hates the tin foods, she wastes it. She never wastes these ones!!

Tasty Life Saver!

My little Lady was horribly neglected as a tiny kitten roaming the street near her 'home' down the road from where we lived, She was just about to be sold to 2-3 lads when a neighbour spotted this and ran over and bought her on the spot to stop the lads getting their hands on her, if she hadn't the lads were going to use Lady to train their ferrets on - to hunt rabbits!!*** Our neighbour gave her to us as she had no room for another cat. She was so malnourished that when we took her to the vets he agreed with me that she was around 8 weeks old - until he checked her mouth and was so surprised that he said a naughty word. She was at least 5 months if not older. All of this sadly caused her to have a problem of bladder sludge. We have fed both Lady and my other cats on this for 10 years and as long as I don't run out Lady is fine if however I do run out for a while within a fortnight she is in pain and running around desperately trying to urinate. This has only happened very occasionally over the last 10 years I hasten to say in my defence. My other cats like it too, in fact the next oldest loves it so much he will barely touch anything else except water. At least I know he's unlikely to develop bladder issues! While this is not a cheap option it's kept my cats healthy with shiny coats, good teeth etc and they all eat it all down to the last biscuit in the box. When the parcel comes they know what it is and weave round my legs telling me how hungry they are!! This food has been a lifesaver for my little Lady and worth every penny it costs. The quality is excellent as usual with Hill's products, it keeps fresh in the bag, my cats love it so there's no waste and considering I feed 6 cats with it it lasts a good while. I'm impressed and my cats are happy!
