I had looked all over for this product and it was out of stock everywhere. My vet had just given me a prescription for it, which does no good if you can't find it. Thank god you guys had it. It was so easy to fax prescription and it was ok'd the next morning and shipping the same day. Great service. My only complaint is the cost of the shipping, if I had not needed this so badly I would have bought is somewhere else.

Fantastic. Our pug was steadily gaining weight and was always looking for food. This product has helped in more ways than one. He is losing weight, not looking for food between meals, his coat is softer and healthier looking and he does not shead as much as he use too. He generally seems a lot calmer and happier. The price is a little more but because he is on set potion size and not begging for more food it is well worth it.

I was absolutely floored when my vet gave me samples of the wet food of this food! My chihuahua had been getting sick (not right away) after eating the Iams dog food she was on. I couldn't understand why all of a sudden. It was like everyday. I thought she was seriously sick and that possibly I would've had to put her down. I took her to an emergency vet and the vet fully examined her and I told the vet what was going on. She gave me a couple samples and my chihuahua hasn't got sick since she's been in this food and its been a little over a year now. It is pricey! Now even pricier with the inflation! I almost had a heart attack when I saw the $74.99!! Our Boston terrier eats this food. Unfortunately she has diabetes so we had to put her on a special diet. It is great in that it helps keep her weight down and her sugar levels more in balance - although the poor thing still must take insulin. I’m not sure she’s crazy about the flavor, although it could be the hard texture that she’s not a fan of (she’s an old girl). So we mix it with a heaping spoonful of either hill’s W/D wet food or purina pro plan wet food. Our other dog thinks it tastes great though likes to sample it when able to get away with it.
This prescription weight reduction diet really works. My large beagle has a target weight of 25kg but his weight had mushroomed to 33kg. With continuing use of Hills R/D over many months his weight is now back down to 26.5kg.
I was really impressed with this dog food. My 140 lbs black lab is now down to around 100 which is about right for his body size. We had a really tough time getting his weight down since he has really bad arthritis and has a tough time getting around. In about 4 months of having him and his brother on this food, he has become a lot more active due to the reduced wight he has to pack around. The cost seams really high, but they also don't eat nearly as much. So, in the long run, it's actually cheeper.

My Female Rottweiler is 45 pounds over weight. she has a torn Acl so needs surgery. We have to lose 30-35 pounds before this can be done. this food is amazing. with short walks and no treats except veggies in a week and a half using this food with only 5 cups a dy she is down 11 pounds. So yes very pleased with my vets recomendation. A bit pricy but worth it.
Why have you changed the formula? My dog has eaten your product for l0+ years. This last bag he is refusing to eat. Vet says you have reformulated and also changed the size of the pellet (smaller). Friend had some of your previous formula (her dog had passed) which I have been mixing in trying to get him to eat. But I don't think I will be able to continue on this product.
We were recommended by our vet to try Hills Diet to resolve the problem our old greyhound was having with a constant upset tum. She told us that he needed a high fibre diet, something old greyhounds in particular need. After 1 day his stools were firm and the upset tum gone. We mix it with a greyhound food so he maintains his weight and continue to use for our second greyhound. Would recommend to anyone whose dog is having similar issues.
