I was happy to find you on the internet as we are on the west coast. My cat is eating the Hills Science diet 11+ and doing well. We have purchased the yd diet for her in the past, and I found it was much more reasonable price than in California. The cost of the regular has gone up and shipping is certainly expensive. I'm happy to support a small business like yours; but the mailing may become prohibitive. Blessings in your business!

I guess somewhere along the line, I simply didn't realize these poor senior kitties have their own senior eating needs, and I had been feeding them the same (great product) Hairball Science Diet blend. While browsing Petco online recently, I noticed that there was Science Diet specifically for seniors, and thought I'd give it a try to see what was different about it. I'm super impressed with it, and so are they! Not only does it take their specific functions and needs into account nutritionally, but the pellets are very tiny and easy to eat! Where before, filled bowls would slowly be consumed, now the cats really go to town eating this stuff! I have 12 years male tuxedo (black with white socks) cat. He’s a very picky cat. It’s hard to find the food for him thought, it seems he is ok with this flavor. However after I feed him with this food for 4-5 days, he starts vomiting everyday. When I read this review, I noticed some customer mentioned about vomiting issue. One of the reviews recommended for choosing the right one ( this reviewer solved her issue by choosing “sensitive stomach” with same brand ). So I try to give him a different formula with sensitive stomach from Hill’s science because I trust this brand. There is nothing wrong with this product …except it didn’t work for my cat.

Noticeable results! This diet has helped my cat a lot!
2 March 2023

I bought this for my 12 year old cat a couple months ago. He was on the 7+ formula for adult cats but i decided to switch to this formula, given that my cat is a senior kitty. Due to his breeding, he's had health issues in the past and had to be given shots at that caused loss of his fur. As he aged, the fur didn't really come back. I also noticed that he was rarely playing and showed little to no interest towards play. Ever since he started this diet his fur is noticeably coming back, and he's playing again!! I've had him since he was a couple weeks old and it seems like his younger self is back. This formula works and my cat loves it!

Our cat LOVES it
16 December 2022

Our older cat who we think is about 17 years old loves this food! He even leaves some of his wet food in order to eat more of this food. I try to keep the bowl filled at all times but occasionally he will eat it all overnight before I can refill it! So happy we got this food for him! He seems healthier and more energetic and has gained a little weight, which he needed. We’ve had him on this food for about three months. It’s a little pricey but worth it.

Perfect Kibble Size and Texture
6 January 2021

I am so happy with this cat food because my cats love love love it!!! The small size and relatively soft texture are perfect for my senior cats that have lost several teeth. They had previously been eating various Royal Canin formulas, but Royal Canin and other companies seem to have recently switched some formulas to incredibly hard discs that are the consistency of cement. My cats were really struggling with these cement-like discs, and I was afraid one of them would break a tooth or even worse, that one of them would choke from trying to swallow one of the rather large discs whole. Or that they would starve because they hated the discs so much. Horrible! I'm so glad I found a reasonable solution for them. If the manufacturer sees this, I am begging you to leave ... MoreI am so happy with this cat food because my cats love love love it!!! You will lose my business if you do that. You've produced a great product for senior cats with this formula, size, and texture.

SO happy we decided to try Science Diet!
15 February 2022

We have 2 nearly 13-year-old Ragdolls, and one would puke once nearly every week. At his vet check-up he was found to be healthy with no health issues, so I just thought it was due to his frequent grooming of his long hair. I talked recently talked with my daughter & decided it was time to try a senior food that would be easier on their stomachs. Cats being so finicky, I was concerned the food may go to waste, but they immediately LOVED the Science Diet food, and the puking is now a rarity. We are so glad we decided to try the new brand!

Senior cat plays like a kitten!
12 February 2023

My 14 year old cat was not doing much but sleep. I changed to the adult 11+ and the change was remarkable. His eyes are bright, his coat is plush, and he loves the taste. It is easy for him to chew and his appetite has returned. I have my cat back! I highly recommend it!

Tasty low phosphorus senior cat food great for CKD
18 December 2020

After 5 seniors being on this their latter quarter of life, we are reeling in one more on formerly Longevity for 11yo, with SD 11+ chicken senior cat dry food. I recommend this diet as an option to Any age CKD feline, even early onset caught on imaging and elevated SDMA, not yet detected in protein, BUN, crea, PCV/HCT, or urine protein:creatinine and this diet helps keep their CKD that early and nearly undetectable! It's one of the best moderate protein sources for our CKD kitties, very palatable, easy way to maintain weight with calorie dense dry kibble, and limits our need for phosphorus binders added to diet or oral dosing daily at meal times as the phosphorus is low enough not to warrant binding dietary Phosphorus (P). For moderate and advanced CKD, we still have this in rotation with RC renal diets canned/dry as GI ulceration/gases, nausea and food avoidance develops. SD is gobbled after their Cerenia and antacid take effect, staying ahead of nausea as much as possible so food avoidance rarely sets in. Thank you, Hills, for another great product. Now, we just need more palatable canned options, as your chunky dinners and ground pates have some low phosphorus ones, but just aren't as palatable as comparable low phos fishy and poultry Purina and RC products.

the most pickiest cat
21 February 2019

I have 2 cats boy that is 15 years old and a girl that is 13 years old. my boy cat is the most pickiest eater ever. he only eats one brand of dry cat food and that is it. I tried in the past to change the brand of cat food to blue buffalo. I mixed his old cat food with blue buffalo and he would pick out and eat only his old cat food. for 3 days in a row I only gave him blue buffalo and for 3 days my cat refused to eat. so I want back to his old brand. but recently I noticed that he was throwing up more often and his stool was softer and lighter in color then normal. It seemed like his cat food was irritating his stomach. so I knew I needed to change brands my mother's vet recommended this brand. I was absolutely shocked. only time will tell now if this helps with his stomach irritation.
