Hill's Science Diet Adult Perfect Weight Small&Mini Dry Dog Food 6.8kg

For all of you dog parents with smaller breeds, this food is the perfect balance of nutrition and balance! It has helped my dachshunds weight maintain a steady and healthy weight that doesn't fluctuate. This food has been our go-to for the past 2.5 years. After rehoming my dachshund, we switched him to Royal Canin Dachshund Teckel food that made him gain a 5 lbs within a short time span; we turned to Hill's Diet as a reduction option. Not only has the weight has stayed off, but has helped maintain the ideal weight and know the compatibility of this formula for our small dog is perfect. Highly recommend!

Coat is smooth , poop is solid. She’s happy

Bought it after my vet prescribed a similar diet for my ailing Great Dane. After she passed I switched to a similar formula for weight control for my Lhasa Apso. Although she never lost any weight , she remained stable , loved the kibble , has a nice shiny coat , firm poop , and has plenty of energy. It worked for her , and our German Shepherd is always trying to steal it.

Great Product that Helped my Corgi loose weight

Bought this item for my slightly overweight Pembroke Welsh corgi. We immediately saw results and have kept him on it for the last 2+ yrs. While he is a picky eater in general, he seems to be okay with this kibble and he is in great shape thanks to the food and plenty of exercise.

Great for my overweight Mini Aussie

My two Mini Aussies have been eating the sensitive stomach Hills for a few years, but my older one had added some pounds that the vet said needed to be shed. She was very upset at cutting back her amount of food, so I saw the reviews for this one and thought we would try it. We introduced the new food the way the bag suggests and she has not thrown up after eating it once! Her stools are also firm, and less stinky than on the sensitive stomach food. This food also smells a lot more than the old food they had, and both my girls eat it all when fed instead of letting it sit around and nibble on it all day. It does make the cabinet where it is stored smell a bit like chicken bullion. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. Hill's Adult Perfect Weight Dog Food (small dogs)

My little rescue chihuahua, mini pinscher mix, three-legged dog, gained about 2 pounds last year. She needs to stay fit and trim. While there are other great dog foods for her, finding them in stock is difficult. Dixie now gets 1/3 cup twice a day. After switching to this Hill's food and increasing her exercise she has lost weight and looks great!

Hills Science Diet Perfect Weight small and mini

My dogs love this food. The only problem I have is that both of my dogs tend to inhale this food, as the size of the kibble is really small. I ended up adding another bag with larger kibble, plus I bought a slow feeder bowl for my little boy. Both of these additions has seemed to help, now I may also purchase a slow feeder bowl for my girl. The next time I need to buy food, I may buy the Hills Science Diet Perfect Weight for adult dogs, instead of the small and mini variety.

Perfect food for my Doxie!

I have a 11 year old mini doxie and we switched her from the regular small bites to this due to store availability. Best decision ever! She lost a bit of the stubborn weight we were struggling to shed with regular walks alone. Her energy notably increased and she is SO SOFT. She didn't even seem to notice it was less food (not hungry or whining more). Even the vet says how unusually nice her coat is and what good shape she's in! I feel good feeding her this food!

I have a 5 year old Teacup Chihuahua.I had him on a different high end dog food since he was 6 weeks old, without weight trouble until last year. He suddenly doubled his weight. Our vet told us to give him the same daily amount of food, but separate it out to 2 feedings a day instead of allowing him to graze throughout the day. We tried it, but to no avail. Then I discovered this food and thought it was worth a try. He's been on Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight for 7 weeks and has already lost 2 lbs! I fostered a terrier mix female that I eventually adopted. When I got her, she weighed about 9 pounds. After about a year she was up to 11 pounds and could not even keep and collar on. She had no neck! I was feeding her the sale food as my Maltese/yorkie mix.When I changed her food to Perfect Weight, she immediately began to lose the extra weight. She is now back to her Perfect Weight!! She never acted like she was hungry all the time as she did on her previous food (which was also Hills). My cat even likes it also. We can even take walks now as her collar will stay on! My only problem is my Tractor Supply does not always have this in stock and I have to buy it from my Vets (It costs about $2.00 per bag more).
