If you can afford to feed your pup Hills, I sincerely recommend you do. My pup loves her food and always has very solid, regular poops while eating it. I love that it's WSAVA approved and having personally seen their research facilities, I can say with confidence they are very clean and Hills is open about how research is conducted - both things I really like.

It's an okay food. I bought it because it is really tiny bites which is perfect for my 4lb chihuahua. I was looking for something with high protien without alot of fillers, this has more than I thought. It's alright and will continue using it until I find a better replacement food. Any suggestions would be appreciated. He has skin problems so I supplement food with fish oil, with contaminated removed of coarse, that's something to watch for. My dog really likes the flavor of this food, he gobbles it down.

My little senior dog loves this dog food, the delicious chicken flavor is packed into a tiny kibble for small dogs that prefer variety and easily digestible ingredients help support their energy levels. Great for puppies. All the nutrients in one bag. Hills science is the only brand I feed my dogs. They have all stages of life. Nothing compares highly recommended 10/10. Nothing but empty bowls at feeding time. Reasonably priced, great quality.

Was pups first type if hard/crunchy food. My pup loved it but we noticed he didn't get all the nutrition he needed. Wr bought powder to get him where he neededbto be. He grew out of the puppy food and has now changed to something else's. This was his only food he ate for the first year of his life as he didnt like any other brand we bought. He's a chocolate Labrador. This product may and my not be best. Some dogs don't get enough nutrition from this product if you notice this happening then please feed your dog something different.

Hill’s science diet for our Puppy

Our puppy is 5 months old. She is a rescue pup - we got her at 4 months. The dog food she’d been eating was was definitely not the best. She had bowel & stomach issues right off the bat so the vet suggested we start her on Hill’s Science. We saw a difference within a few days.We will continue to feed our puppy the Hill’s Science Diet - the ingredients are healthy and the price is competitive & our pup loves it.

Just the best

I have a black German shepherd, we used to give our girl Royal canin which was fine but when we switched to Hill Science puppy she had her biggest growth spurts, her poops were more solid, her muscles developed in a more lean and defined way. I was very impressed with the visible improvements! Would highly recommend !

My dog is healthy and loves the kibble as a treat

Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is it doesn't give my dog meal time excitement, I mix it with hills puppy wet food (she loves the wet food) but the dry food isn't her favorite. But she's healthy and it helped her grow her coat (she's a mini Australian shepperd, a double coat fluffy breed) and she even shines a little! Especially in the sun, teeth are healthy and my vet said she looked great last checkup. We got her at 3 months and we've fed hills dry and wet food for about a month now.

Picky toy breed pup liked it for only a week

Unfortunately our little Havanese boy is all picky eater. There are a few brands he likes but wanted to try Hills as it’s a lot less expensive than what he currently likes. He liked this kibble for a week and now he won’t eat it unless he’s been starved all day then finally goes to his food bowlaround 9-10 pm. Now we’re adding toppers so he’ll eat it, but even with the topper, he’s trying to eat around the kibble

Pup Loves it, Good Value

I bought this for our new puppy because I trust the brand. The kibbles are small enough for any small and medium sized dogs. My husky loves it and eats every bite. I also use it as treats throughout the day. We weren't able to transition her to this when we got her, so there was some mild tummy upset the first few days. But since that's cleared up, her stools have been nice and firm. Not excessive in bulk.Doesn't leave the bowl super greasy or dusty afterwards. Bag has a great Velcro style closure, keeps it fresh. When fully closed, you don't really smell the food (but I still keep it locked away from pup's nose!). Bag material is thick as well, so it keeps it fresh.I'm not a huge fan of the added salt, especially so far up in the ingredient list.
