None of my cats will eat the chicken flavor. I gave the unused cans to a friend with 8 cats, but none of her cats would eat this flavor. She donated to the local shelter, but none of those cats would eat this flavor.BTW, the cans will expire next year (in 2025) so we are all confused why none of these cats will eat this flavor... perhaps I received a bad batch (?)

We have been feeding this exact food to our cats for a while now. With the most recent order I have noticed the cans are not filled or in some cases have very little food in them to near empty so I started taking pictures and videos when I pick them up and they feel extremely light. I can tell as soon as I pick up a can now it’s going to be low or empty. I understand things can happen but this is almost the entire tray, the cans should have not made it through quality control. So far with the entire flat of food if it’s not low of food in cans there is more gravy than meat or empty. yes, empty cans!If this ... MoreWe have been feeding this exact food to our cats for a while now. I have a beautiful color point and I only want her to eat the best. She loves it. You can see the real chunks of chicken, rice and real vegetables. I wouldn't feed my children processed junk food so why would I feed my Arwen (Wennie) anything less.

I’ve been buying this for my cats for years and never had an issue. Over the last few months the cans have become less and less full. At this point they are either all liquid or mostly liquid and only filled halfway. For what they are charging this is absolutely ridiculous and it feels like a GREEDY shrinkflation tactic to make more money for way less product. I know this is a Hill’s Science Diet issue that Chewy has no control over but as a long time customer I would greatly appreciate if Chewy could put a little pressure on Hill’s since this is a huge issue for customers.
My girl Wednesday used to love this food. One thing I observed in the recent order was the change in the consistency of the food compared to the ones in the past: soupy. It was a bit smelly too. I went against my instinct and fed her the food. She ate it, BUT of late, she's been having diarrhea. I was forced to get rid of the entire case. I highly doubt Chewy will refund me, but I'm not taking a risk by purchasing this food again.
I have been trying many flavors of wet food for my boy who needs a Urinary diet. I get the case and he refuses to eat it. This food is expensive and I love him so I am willing to pay for good food. However I have been giving it away. This makes me sad. I know he should eat wet food and we haven’t found one he will eat. He eats the salmon for awhile but then refuses, the same for that white fish. He loves his special treats! Why can’t they make wet food taste as good as the treats?????
My kitty has some digestive problems and I've actually had to make her food for the last several years. Since she was a kitten, she could absolutely not tolerate any canned food at all - even expensive prescription foods. Making her food is a pain and a fairly long process. Of course, I will do it for as long as she needs it. A few months ago, I ran out of homemade food on vacation and had nothing to feed her. So, I went to a pet store and bought a few cans of this because it contains chicken and rice, which is what I put in the food I make. She had no problem tolerating it! Since then, I've been feeding her a mixture and she's just fine. We are just about ready to go to 100% soon. This food is a lifesaver for me and she LOVES it.
My cats really like this cat food and I think it smells good. I was giving them Fancy Feast canned food but switched to Hills and my cat’s bowel movements are much better now. One cat was constipated and the other’s was too lose. Both cats are much better now.
Our veterinarian suggested we start feeding our cats Hills Science Diet food as some varieties are lower in phosphates than most other cat foods. Much better for their kidneys. The kitties love the food! We have purchased a few different flavors to keep them interested and happy. It’s a hit in our home!
i don’t understand what’s wrong with this batch that i just received. every single can i’ve opened is just water and little, tiny, microscopic pieces of meat. ive never experienced this before. it’s like hill science just dumped a bunch of water in each can. i know the protein value is much less than what’s on the actual label because of all this water/broth. it looks gross and my cat, who needs to eat this formula, will not eat it.
