This product had high ratings and a nutritional profile. However, it was a total miss with my kittens. They wouldn’t even take a lick. They were both hungry and kept walking to their bowls and then walking away after sniffing. I won’t be repurchasing and will donate the remaining 20 cans. I gave it several tries but they won’t eat it.

We have been feeding this exact food to our cats for a while now. With the most recent order I have noticed the cans are not filled or in some cases have very little food in them to near empty so I started taking pictures and videos when I pick them up and they feel extremely light. (Videos to large to attach but I screenshot some pics of them)This food is not cheap, this is the 6th can I have opened with major quality control problems. I can tell as soon as I pick up a can now it’s going to be low or empty. I understand things can happen but this is almost the entire tray, the cans should have not made it through quality control. I have two 4-month-old kittens and let me tell you they are picky little guys! Every time we found a food that we thought they would like one of them might have liked it the other one would just turn his nose up at it until we found these Hill's Science Diet canned kitten foods. We feed them a combination of the Chicken & Liver Entree, Tender Chicken Dinners, and the Healthy Cuisine Tender Chicken & Rice Medley now they finish their bowls every time! I am a loyal Hill's customer.

Our kittens love this wet food. It's what they were on at the shelter. We tried changing it up. Epic fail. The kittens are the other brand, but never finished their meal. They've had some stomach issues in the past. We give them this wet food and also the Science Diet Dry food. They're big fans! We are too.
This is my Ragdoll's favorite can of food. The sliced/pieces are small enough for our senior gal to eat with her teeth issues and soft enough that she doesn't have any pain. She sifts through to isolate the carrots though, as they are not her favorite, but still eats a few. Science Diet Hills is a brand I've trusted for decades.The shortage on cat food currently is something I didn't think I'd see in my lifetime and I've been forced to buy some lesser brands to keep her fed. She was overjoyed to have her favorite flavor back in the house! She ate 95% and was totally zonked out after her meal. I care about no preservatives, clean foods, so any changes you make to the food should be toward that end. Anyway., she is a pate lover most of all, but this flavor is one ... I’ve been buying this for my cats for years and never had an issue. Over the last few months the cans have become less and less full. At this point they are either all liquid or mostly liquid and only filled halfway. For what they are charging this is absolutely ridiculous and it feels like a GREEDY shrinkflation tactic to make more money for way less product. I know this is a Hill’s Science Diet issue that Chewy has no control over but as a long time customer I would greatly appreciate if Chewy could put a little pressure on Hill’s since this is a huge issue for customers.
I have been trying many flavors of wet food for my boy who needs a Urinary diet. I get the case and he refuses to eat it. This food is expensive and I love him so I am willing to pay for good food. However I have been giving it away. This makes me sad. I know he should eat wet food and we haven’t found one he will eat. He eats the salmon for awhile but then refuses, the same for that white fish. He loves his special treats! Why can’t they make wet food taste as good as the treats?????
My 6 & 8 month old Kittens are LOVING this wet food. Before I made the switch, I was feeding them a wet food from a different brand and they just weren't loving it / excited about it! After reading the reviews of this product, I was sold that I had to give it a try. These kitties can't get enough of it. They lick their bowls clean! And it's true that the kitten food resembles human food! It looks like a stew and smells good too! I also feed my Kitten's Hill's dry food and they love that too. Definitely recommend if you want to give your kitties a tasty meal that's good for them too :)
Our veterinarian suggested we start feeding our cats Hills Science Diet food as some varieties are lower in phosphates than most other cat foods. Much better for their kidneys. The kitties love the food! We have purchased a few different flavors to keep them interested and happy. It’s a hit in our home!

Hills Science Diet is more expensive, but we want our cats to have quality food, however considering our recent experience, we will be changing to another brand.
