The Hills Hoist 8 line rotary clothesline is a strong product that is easy to use. The handle to move the clothesline up and down is very light and I can use it with minimal effort. This replaced our 26 yr old old foldable Hills hoist.It is an improved design, and a little larger- now holding Queen sized bed sheets very easily. The old one was removed nicely and the new one installed equally as nicely. Rubbish was cleaned up and taken away.A very professional experience.Highly recommended.

The prompt assistance and help in ordering the above clothesline was excellent - friendly and helpful service.The freight arrangements went like clockwork and the new clothesline arrived nicely boxed and ready to erect.This is where the story stops for the present.The clothesline is a replacement for an 18 year old clothesline badly damaged in a very bad hailstorm at the end of October last year and covered by insurance. We have been struggling with the damage to our sunroom and we are hoping that final approval relating to the replacement of the sunroom and contents will happen by the end of this month. Fabulous. I have been wanting this for years and now I have my own yard big enough for this. 6 loads of washing no worries, if you have it in a good spot for the breeze and sun 30-45 mins of hang time and all washing is dry. Hills Hoist is the original and the best!
The Hills Hoist 8 line Rotary Clothesline is great. I grew up with the original hills hoist clothesline in mum and dad’s backyard in the 60s. It was still standing when I sold the house in 2021. When it was time for us to buy a new clothesline, I decided that going back to a rotary clothesline would be a great idea. I can hang our king sized sheets on it, and the whole family’s wash. Everything spins around and dries in no time at all. We added a cover to protect our clothes from the sun and not having the sun in my eyes whilst hanging out the wash is a bonus.I highly recommend the Hills Hoist 8 line Clothesline for any large family.
What an easy to use, perfectly sized hoist. Always thought the Hills Hoist with its rotary mechanism was the best invention ever- and it still trumps all other inert clothes lines. Love it! This is the perfect Queen size sheet Hoist and fits loads. Installation was efficient, quick and professional, thanks Lifestyle! Would only have preferred a one tone green for line and Hoist. It would help it to better 'disappear' into the green environment. Apart from that, who would not love its ability to be removed and it's fold down feature. A great buy indeed.
I purchased this clothesline to replace my original 45 year old Hills Foldaline rotary clothesline (which had rusted through and snapped in half!!!). It is identical in size, and easily fits my king size sheets. Although it has 8 lines, they are closer together than the old 6 line hoist. Not that this is an issue..... I used it for the first time last Monday, using alternate lines and it easily accommodated all 4 wash loads, with plenty of room to spare. It's a true family size clothesline, but at 14kg, still has the convenience of being removed if you need your garden space at any time, which is what I also loved about the old one. Thanks to the very clear YouTube instructions, even my non-handy hubby and I were able to install it without a problem. Overall, my experience from ordering to delivery and satisfaction with this clothesline is a 10/10.
Having moved from Melbourne to Wangaratta has with any new home there is always something that you are not happy with, and the old clothesline was one of them. We lost everything in the black summer bush fire. For personal maintenance, we soon realised that we needed a functional clothes line. We searched the internet for a large clothesline.
