This dog food cleared up all my dog's digestive issues. And he hasn't gained weight which I was afraid of switching from kibble to a canned dog food. Plus, he absolutely inhales it! He gets excited about mealtime again!

I have a 12 year old miniature poodle has pancreatitis and elevated liver readings. She spent 6 days in Animal Emergency Critical Care Center. She was refusing to eat....finally ate some low fat i/d stew and loved it! Now that is all she eats and so far her pancreatitis is behaving. Can't say enough about this product. So glad it comes in 12 oz cans! Coupons would be welcomed!

This food is the best I've found for my Westie's tummy. She occasionally suffers from pancreatitis, and our vet recommended that she stays on a low-fat diet. She loves this food, too, and does a happy dance every time I put it in her dish.

I have a 7 pound PomChi with sensitivities, allergies and a adrenal gland removed from cancer, she hers bouts of pancreatitis and colitis so this food has kept her healthy, without it she goes back into bloody stools. She also only has 2 bottom molars so this stew is very soft and easy to eat, I also will smash it with a fork since she likes that better making it easier. This stew is so soft it smashes like warm butter. She uses the can product of course. It's her forever food and is great!
Our Vet recommended this food long ago for our little fur baby and she LOVES it. It definitely has helped with her GI problems and kept her system on track. Only problem is it seems like everyone sells it at the same set price. Not good in this day and age when competition is the name of the game.
Prescribed by my vet.. dog has had issues with pancreas and IBS since she was around 1 year old. Cannot tolerate any other foods , tried and tried with it back firing each time , resulting with putting her back on the Hills I/D low fat can food. She cannot even tolerate the dry version of the same food. Looks like this is her diet for te rest of hef life. Being that it is low fat.. she has to eat more of it though to maintain her 8 lb. weight. Keeping me busy with 5 feedings daily of 1/4 cup each , between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. every day. I will continue to give this to her as long as she is alive because she seems well on it for now.
My dog has pancreatitis so needs to eat only low fat food. She loves this canned food. I think she thinks she is getting people food. She also has newly diagnosed diabetes. One thing that is interesting is when I changed her to the dry version of this food, it kept her sugars way up in the 300-400s much of the day. I switched her back to this canned food and immediately were almost immediately in the good range again. I will never have her eat the dry version again.
My little dog Penny was prescribed Hill's prescription diet i/d digestive care after recurring bouts of pancreatitis. Penny loves it. She becomes so excited when it's feeding time. The stew flavor seems to be her favorite. It looks and smells almost like real stew. Penny's health has improved and she has been doing well while on Hill's prescription diet.
Tried a lot of different canned foods for my little dog with pancreatitis. This is the only one he'll eat. My only complaint was the box was not packed securely and a can was crushed in shipment. Partial refund given.
