The lock is perfect for carrying around, it has a shroud wire to wrap round your stuff and the main d-lock seems sturdy. The two combined are reassuringly heavy, but as the extra wire for wrapping around things is thin, the package is lighter than most Kryptonite and Abus.I like it. The key looks good enough although it's only one-sided.I wouldn't leave my bike locked overnight on this, but as something to carry with me to meetings or if I just need to pop into shops etc. It's perfect.
Since I’ve got this I have no worries riding places and stopping to get something to eat or drink on my way home, and that’s exactly how bike locks should make you feel!

I have liked the Hiplocks since their early days a lock that you can wear and you truly forget about is very handy on the busy streets of London. Their silver secure rating is a must with insurers in the Capital. Great idea having the cable to lock up your Beautiful and expensive Brooks saddle. However you should note that the silver secure rating only applies to the actual D lock not the less bulky cable. Excellent keys and registration make this a wearable and secure option that I would happily recommend.
it is very small, hard to block it to a pole, the stuff to lock the wheels is so thin, you can cut it easily
