We have 2 of these for days out with the kids. They're great for cafe stops and impromptu stops at the park. If you connect the 2 locks together they make 1 long lock which easily secures all 4 pikes to a railing. Simple, easy to use and adjust to fit us or the kids when wearing around your waist.

This bike lock is good for the money, great if you just want to quickly pop into a shop or be five minutes somewhere but I would not trust the bike to be left for too long [depending on the area] as it would not take too much effort to cut it and have the bike away. Really good to wear and that,s what it was designed for.

Bought this for additional security when touring. I wanted something light to add to a Kong cable lock. 2 locks are better than 1. It is only sold as bronze so if you want higher security pay a higher price. It will deter a casual thief especially if used with a second lock.It fits the waist and is light although I found it fitted neatly around the top of my pannier top bag.
Obviously only for use in a safe storage facility as a deterent or with a D lock. Initially was working great, but a few weeks in the lock has stiffened and its a nightmare locking and unlocking, super fiddley. I thought it was a problem with my lock alone but exactly the same thing has happened to my housemate's lock. We'll be taking ours back - it may just be a faulty batch but at present I wouldn't recommend.
Bought the Hiplock pop to provide a bit of extra security when popping into shops etc. Does the job fine. It is just a wearable cable lock so only a bronze sold secure rating. Not a lock I would rely on if securing my bike overnight.First time I wore it I cinched it a bit too tightly around my waist and it became uncomfortable after a while.Hopefully I have now found a happy medium so that it is not too tight but doesn't slide down over my hips.Decent lock overall.
Not sure how this wasn't thought of sooner to be honest. My main reason for purchasing this was for those short trips to the shops/pub/cafe when I need to leave the bike unattended for short periods. I say short periods because it's never going to to withstand a rigorous assault with a pair of bolt cutters - but neither does it claim to.I was surprised though at how unobtrusive it is when worn, so much so that I now take it along with me on all rides - just incase! It's fairly long too! Long enough to feed through both wheels & frame or to lock two bikes together, and because you only require the key to unlock it, it can go from being around you waist to being around your bike in a matter of seconds. It's great!
I love the design of this lock I can carry it around my waist my wife carries hers diagonaly or you can just wrap it around your frame.It's very easy to lock with and the plastic covers give lots of frame protection.
This product resolves the problem of carrying a lock, potentially for a couple of bikes without carrying it in the form of ballast shifting your centre of mass in a bag on your back. Instead by wearing it round your waist you hardly notice it is there. It is sturdy enough to give you confidence in that it will keep your bike secure but not too heavy to burden you down, particularly as the weight is evenly distributed around you. It's a great looking product and easy to use, it ticks all the boxes! I would highly recommend this product from Evans Cycles as it pretty much arrived next day!
Excellent ice of kit, ideal for when you're out on those rides and just want a lock to secure your bikes whilst stopping for a drink and rest. It's not man enough as a permanent lock but that's what it's designed for. Fits really well around the waist that you don't realise you are carrying it whilst cycling, used it last weekend on a sportive event and amazed the lads when I produced the lock at the end of the ride to secure 3 bikes whilst we went walk about.Good product and does what it's designed for, well worth the money which in my opinion is good value.
