The King James Version (KJV) was first published in 1611 and is an English translation of the bible for the Church of England. It remains a majestic example of the early 17th-century English language and acted as a driving force for the English-speaking world. It is of great value culturally, historically and linguistically. As an atheist, many Christians (sometimes fundamentalists), direct quotations from scripture in my general direction. This version of the KJV is very reasonably priced and is a welcome edition to my library because of its value to the English-speaking world since the early 17th-century. A thoroughly recommended reference book.

Ordered the bible on Saturday night and recieved it at 10am Monday morning . The bible is wonderful and very well made , it is also very good value for the price. I look forward to , God willing having many years use of it . Thank you .

This was a gift for a good friend, our friend is a good Christian man who told us he didn't own a Bible. Even though I haven't read my old school Bible since I was at school, I'm now 68, home wouldn't feel right with out it. My friend is very pleased with the gift.
