It has wheels, it has a removable water draw. Works better with chilled water from a jug I keep in the fridge. It's a swampy so it doesn't matter if the doors and windows are left open, it won't blast ice cold air in climates that have consistently high humidity over 60%. Really low power consumption. It has a turbo function which is loud but effective as it is is pretty low velocity without it. Better than a fan, cheaper than an air conditioner.

Simple to set-up and use. Remember it's not a cold air-conditioner but it makes the room pleasant. We're surprised that it uses very little water and still is constant with its coolness. Would certainly recommend this cooler as an inexpensive alternative to a/c.

I live in humid QLD and a very hot sleeper. Against recomendations I asked Joyce Mayne to order the Honeywell 800 portable evap cooler. Most QLD electrical stores wont stock these type of coolers. Well they are fantastic at blowing cooler air than a standard fan on you while your sleeping. Its made such a difference and I'm very happy with my purchase. You can even add ice cubes to cool the air further and it has a special night time cooling fan speed which is the winner. Most evap coolers just run flat out and very noisy. Dont buy this evap cooler to cool a room down in QLD as it wont work, but if you are hot at night sleeping its definatley worth a try. :)

The complete vent isn't utilised for air distribution, rather half of it is covered by the system part. Also the vents can't be moved much to change the direction. The run time isn't too long, cannot run overnight as a refill is required in the middle of the night. Quite handy with the timer and speed options however, it won't feel instantly cold like an aircon but if ON for a while will make the area much cooler. The water canister part is quite leaky and care needs to be taken when moving the cooler around as water tends to leak due to the movement.
Two thumbs up. Fraction of the cost of portable air con and hassle free maintenance. Bought this today to provide some relieve from the dreadful heat and it works!! Highly recommend.
For me it didn't cool my room ,it was just like a normal fan .And I didn't like the led lights ,it was so bright at night ,so I have to put a tape over it to make the room dark.When you put on the quiet mode it just work like a normal fan.
Bought this product to get through the really hot days this year. Pack it with ice in the water storage and it cool the room perfectly. It’s quiet and very easy to use. Great response with postage. Way cheap that having an aircon and it small to pack away
Bought this a few weeks ago and it has made a huge difference to sleeping during summer in Perth. It doesn’t claim to cool the whole room and it doesn’t do that, even in our small study but it absolutely blows colder air out than a regular fan. It has given us some relief during the 35+ degree days as we have no air con and unable to get any!Note it will only work in dry climates!
Bought ~1week ago to try and cool my 16m2 bedroom. I am surprised at how good this thing is! Cools the room by 6-8 degrees, making it much more bearable at night. Small and compact, powerful fan with 4 settings, timer, sleep mode, remote and reasonably quiet running for night time. The water tank comes out for easy filling too which is handy, 6l capacity lasts all night. I am really impressed with this little thing!For the one star reviewers - it is NOT refrigerated air con, it is an evaporative cooler!! Stop being silly!
To early to rate, ask me in 4 years. So far, it's OK, I have used it for about 8 hours. I think these reviews should be sought and submitted about 3 years after purchase, not 1 month. Durability is an important feedback item.
