I bought this to help around the shed, it has been a major disappointment.It takes ages to get it going then as soon as you tilt it in any direction it goes out, do not buy this product.

I bought it as i ran out of oxy acetylene and fair enough it will not get anywhere near as hot but it struggles to stay alight somtimes, fluctuates in output when adjuster not touched. when going isnt to bad just takes a while to heat something due to its size
Seems to work great for me. Strong flame and lights on first click of the igniter every time.Only things are sometimes the flame dies down a bit when upside down and also the gas knob screws in to turn up the gas instead of screwing in to shut off like most gas knobs I’ve used.Only payed 5 bucks for mine because I had store credit but overall pretty happy
These propane torches use a venturi. The small holes running tangent to the gas flow allow air to mix with the propane before ignition. The unit I purchased runs VERY LEAN. The air holes are too large. The solution is stick a match in 1 or 2 of the air holes.
