Hot Wheels City Super Twist Tire Shop Playset

bought for my sons birthday soon. it was shipped in mailing BAG( i worked in a pack/ship business before, and i feel the bags should be used for fabric items. and boxes for other items. ) and item box had a 1 inch hole in it, i can feel the toy thru it. not sure if toy is damaged, again its for my sons birthday. i dont think it is.

A good addition

Unless you have other pieces of the Hot Wheel City line, this isn't worth it. The base is thick, and connects to other pieces, but doesnt work with the "normal" track extensions as they're too thin to connect properly. Also, it doesnt work with all hot wheels cars. They have to be on the flatter side or they get stuck which causes some frustration to my 7 year old. Overall, this is a fun, different addition to other pieces, but I wouldn't recommend this on its own.

Doesn’t work with flat and long cars

This toy is fairly simple. Essentially a bunch of cars go into the wheels and gets thrown out from the top and down the ramp. Assembly is fairly simple (a 5 year old can do it with minimal help). Now the issue the kids have with it is that the hotwheels car keeps getting stuck in the wheel barrel while it turns. You can manually stick your finger or shake the toy to get it going again. However when it got stuck too many times, it becomes annoying and the kids lost interest a short while later. My advice to get it to work is find other hot wheels car that is shorter in length and slightly taller in height.

Fantastic toy!

We received this toy as part of a review. My sons love hot wheels products and we're eager to try it out. My 2 year old was so excited and couldn't wait to play with it. It was so easy to fit together which was good as there's nothing worse than young children wanting to play and having to wait forever for an adult to build a toy. The features are quite basic as to what it can do but it has keep to young boys entertained and they have loved trying all their different cars out on it.

Hot Wheels supertwist

Cars get stuck easily. Even 1 at a atime. You have to shake them a little or remove the back. Design is slightly flawed. Keep working at it hot wheels. Maybe they should have built it a little better and constructed it so it would flow better. Why not fix it so tracks can attach better at the end? We measured the car that came with it to weigh and size of other cars so Do that also. Price was good but improve it. He did have fun with it but it got frustrating! Not sure I would buy it again.

Really fun!

I gave this to my 7 year old son for Christmas. He loves anything hot wheels, especially hot wheels City. He has played with it almost every day since Christmas. He has figured out how to get his cars stuck inside a few times now, but thankfully there are trap doors in the back to rescue them. Not every car seems to fit, but that is true with anything hot wheels.

Super Stunt and Race Car Fun

My little guys had lots of fun playing with their new Mattel Hot Wheels City Super Twist Tire Shop playset. It’s easily assembled, straight out of the box. The included vehicle moves through the clear shop wheels by turning the center key. I have to say that the kids found this twist action very easy to operate. Once the car reaches the top, it then races down the ramp at a high rate of speed, which they said was “very cool.” I like the fact that this playset base can be connected to other city playsets to further enhance the experience by creating a larger and more unique stunt track and race car universe. The only minor problem we encountered was that only low profile cars work without an issue. A vehicle with a spoiler on the back repeatedly got stuck in the mechanisms. Luckily there are well placed doors located on the sides that allows little hands to rescue the stuck vehicle. Other than that, it’s a well made playset that will be sure to delight car enthusiasts!

Very cute

My son really likes this toy. Needs some adult assembly, which too about 10 minutes for me including putting on all the stickers. The car loads in and travels up the tires and shots out the back and down a ramp. There are doors to that open on the tires incase the car gets stuck. Easy for my 4 year old to play with and he also like the gas pump to pretend to fill up his cars. I also like that it connects to other hot wheels play sets.

You can never go wrong with hot wheels! My boys are 7 and 6, they have been playing with hot wheels since they can walk and they still play for hours. What they liked more about this set is the speed the cars have when they come down the ramp. I'm not sure if it was me, but I wasn't able to add the normal race tracks to it. I'm just glad the first time they played with it was much longer than what it took me to wrap it :) We plan on adding more sections to their shop eventually.
