Designed for universal compatibility, this docking station works with USB-A, USB-C, and Thunderbolt enabled notebooks from HP and other manufacturers. (For USB-C to work, the host PC must support the DisplayPort Alternate Mode protocol through its USB-C port. Thunderbolt-capable notebooks can be operated at USB-C speeds. Charge function and port replication are supported on notebooks with implemented USB-C industry specifications. Not recommended for Macbook Pro with M1/M2 chips if you have a high refresh-rate monitor (>100Hz).

It was easy installed and it is absolutely quiet. I have a HP laptop and did not need driver. EU and CH cable were enclosed and power supply was there as well. It works with my 49’’ external screen from Samsung. It s not the smallest but not the biggest as well so ok.

Laptop display usage is optional, if you fold the laptop, that is automatically turned off (at least in my case - HP 445 G7), and I'm using the 2 external displays via DP ports. It is using a simple USB-C port for communication, and it is charging the laptop.
