Bought these a few times when our usual Huggies nappies that we buy weren’t on sale.These are still good Huggies quality but not as good as the ultra dry or ultimate nappies in the Huggies range. These are the cheapest in the range.Perhaps a little smaller in sizing compared to the other Huggies nappies. Not as soft or thick. Plainer packaging and designs on nappies, hence the cheaper cost for more nappies in a pack.Good for emergencies.

Have used these as a cheaper alternative to the Huggies premium line. They do the job well and we haven’t had any major leaks or blowouts to warrant concern, but you can feel the difference in quality. Not quite as thick or soft as the Huggies Ultra Dry, tabs don’t quite feel as secure etc. Having said that they are still much better than many of the competitors more expensive “premium” alternatives.

These nappies are great! They are worth they money you pay for them. I find Huggies nappies always a really good reliable brand when it comes to baby and toddler nappies. These held really good over night with no leaks and hugged nice and snug on babies body and they are a great fit! I would definitely recommend these nappies as I found they worked really well for us! Ans great price!

I bought this nappy for my baby to try when she was around 3 month old. From 0-3 months she was using the original huggies nappy which I found great, but a bit too bulky when she become more active. This nappy is absolutely great for my active baby. I notice that it’s more comfortable for her to move around when she’s wearing this nappy as it is thinner than the original one but still LEAKPROOF when we put it correctly. Now I’m using this during the day, and the ultimate one at night. The material is not as good as the ultimate/original one, but still fine.
First I must say delivery was unbelievable! Order and they arrived the very next day. The nappies are a very good fit, slightly larger than the size 3 I normally use but still fit very well, perfect fit around the legs and not too big and bulky. The pattern on them is very cute. However my little one has really sensitive skin and she was red after wearing. I waited a few days and tried them again with the same result. So unfortunately they weren't for us.
First of all Huggies Essentials are straight out great value. You get a great brand at a fraction of the cost. I'm not a fan of supermarket own brand tab nappies but Huggies Essentials were great.I had then on my 8 month old - they were absorbent, no leaks or blow outs, no odours and kept my little one dry. They still have the wetness indicator on them like the Ultra dry which is great and cute mickey mouse designs. Overall a really great nappy for the budget conscious.
Trialing many different nappies on our newborn, I found these not as soft and absorbent as others. I found these didnt hold up against those nasty poop explosions and I’d have to have a full outfit change when that occurred.As our little one grew and nappies were of a shortage I had to purchase these ones again. I found the next sizes up of this brand were not as bad as having them on a newborn. They fit better and we’re not as bulky. I believe they still don’t absorbs as much as other nappies but for a cheaper price they do the job and I would recommend them for day time use, just change them frequently or when needed.
We usually use Huggies ultra dry on our 2 year old daughter, however on the three days a week she goes to daycare, they use this product on her. I find that on those three days, she comes home with a moist, red bottom. According to their parent reports, they change her very regularly throughout the day. These nappies don’t seem to draw the moisture away, leaving her skin red and irritated.We won’t be buying this product for our daughter’s continued use
Bought these to try as they are cheaper than the other Huggies products. I had high hopes for them due to the Huggies brand name. However, I did not like them at all. Unfortunately my little one had too many leaks in these. They definitely don’t feel as good quality as all the other Huggies products which is disappointing. I would recommend spending a bit more for better quality nappies.
I always used the Huggies ultra dry and occasionally the Aldi nappies. I tried these to try save some money and honestly I didn’t notice any difference other then they being a little longer. They still have the wetness indicator and we haven’t had any leaks at all. Given the recent increased cost of nappies these are a good option to save some money every day.
