Huggies Overnites Diapers are a lifesaver for nighttime dryness! The absorbency is outstanding, keeping my baby dry throughout the night without any leaks. The fit is
perfect, providing a snug yet comfortable feel, which prevents any discomfort or irritation. I have never experienced any leakage issues, even after long nights. The diapers
are also very comfortable for my baby, allowing for easy movement and a good night’s sleep. The sizing is accurate and fits just as expected. Overall, these diapers are a
must-have for any parent seeking reliable overnight protection.

We pay the extra money for these Huggies Overnites Diapers. I have a 2 year old boy who still drinks something before he goes to bed. ( I know! ) Since we switched to these
diapers we have a lot less leaks at night. Our son is waking up with a full diaper, and still dry. So I would say they are much more comfortable than what we were using. We did
size up, because the 5s started to fit weird. That isn't just with the Overnites, but with the Huggies brand in general. Which is a little disappointing, because you get less
diapers every time you size up.

Best Option Available for us

I want to start this review by saying anyone that thinks any diaper is going to last 8hrs + has to high of expectations. Though occasionally depending on the child and intake but just because there called overnights it's not set it & forget it! Most regular diapers have some outrageous marketing things on packaging but you still need to have common sense. Though when our child was younger these did hold up longer than day diapers & maybe some need to compare day vs night, like if you change every 3-4hrs & these last over that it's a win, also no matter their age I wouldn't leave anyone in a diaper over 4-5hrs w/o checking. This being said we have a special needs child that we do use sz 7's & have used various brands for day time. But we have been using Huggies Overnight diapers the longest though we do add booster pads we still check on our child throughout the night or if one of us gets up early. Recently we tried Pampers Overnights though the were softer we couldn't get past the overwhelming baby powder scent they use on their diapers. Are only complaint is usually we can only find these in stock at Walmart in size 7 though we can order them from Sam's & other places which we do but in case of emergency it's nice to know where to get locally. Though our child can also fit in medical diapers but the ones insurance providers are no match to Huggies so we do pay out of pocket for these because they are still best option though there are few better but they are like $1+ per diaper vs HO @ $0.69.We highly recommend these diapers though do recommend common sense if your child is older or has fluids before bed you should still check on them and potentially use a booster pads if needed.... I tried to like them
22 December 2022
I tried my hardest to like these diapers, because they are not cheap for starters; I was not about to throw a whole pack away just because of the absorbent issue. All I saw was “5 stars” - “Try these diapers!” And I’m a first time mom, I’m comparing Huggies, Honest, and Target overnight diapers. So I try Huggies overnight diapers (first). My son is 8 months and weighs 19lbs. Now I did read in the reviews that the diaper runs smaller and for the amount of money I was paying, I wasn’t taken that risk of having a small diaper. They were right. If you want these, go up a size. (I got size 4). Now! The diaper right out of the package feels like cardboard in the crotch area. I’m no expert in diapers and don’t claim to be, but all I kept saying to myself is, “why does this diaper feel like cardboard in the crotch area?” Even my son did not like the feeling of it against his skin. He kept pulling at it and trying to remove it. But! I spent money on it, so I said, “let’s push through.” Does not work. I don’t care what the reviews have to say, if you have a baby who pee’s a lot during the night, you need to change your babies diapers at least ONE time during the night. I tried the overnight claim and every single time I would wake up to find pee going all the way up his back and his sleep sack stained. His sleep schedule is: 8:30PM - 6:30AM. He wakes up around (the window of) 12AM - 2AM to be fed. When he wakes up at that time, I have to change his diaper because it’s already full. Beats the point of even having an overnight diaper at this point. Overview: not soft, cardboard feeling in the crotch (I’m guessing for absorbency), not truly an “overnight” diaper if I still have to change it during the night. I’m finally finished with the pack and will not be buying again. I just wish someone would have left a review like this, especially for a first time mom trying to navigate baby waters.... Show more

Overall solid diapers choice; price a bit steep
22 February 2024
I really love Huggies Overnight diapers! My oldest daughter who is now 4, I used these from the time she was 18 months old to 3 years old. She was completely potty trained as far as peeing on the potty by 2 years old. However, she dealt with constipation issues as she had a sensory disorder and was and still is super picky about the foods she eats! Which led to yummy problems and her being afraid to poop in the potty and she’d wait until she literally wouldn’t hold it and couldn’t even make it to the potty. Sooo I kept her in Huggies overnights because they were the only diaper that wouldn’t leak AND my daughter has always had sensitive skin and these diapers are the ONLY ones I’ve found that don’t irritate her skin! Sooo I kept her in Huggies overnights because they were the only diaper that wouldn’t leak AND my daughter has always had sensitive skin and these diapers are the ONLY ones I’ve found that don’t irritate her skin! The only reason I have to give 4 stars is because if your little one is very active (which let’s be honest, 99% are!!) they do tends to fray and open up where the thighs are. HOWEVER, even with the fraying I’ve only have a handful of times in 1.5 years that they actually leaked the absorbent inner “gel beads” (sodium polyacrylate). Sadly, if they do open up totally and the “gel beads” leak.. good luck. They stick to EVERYTHING! Again, this has been an issue we’ve come across only a few times and on every occasion expect one it was when the diaper was SUUPER full when she woke up in the morning and along with tossing and turning the inner material frayed and it just bursted open. All and all a great diaper, I would definitely recommend, only real downside I have to say is PRICE!! It’s around $58 a diaper. That’s pretty steep in my personal opinion. If you’re using these strictly for nighttime diapers that wouldn’t be so bad as obviously say a 50 pack would get you almost 2 full months of diapers! However, if you use them as we did we would run out about every 2 weeks or so, which adds up. All that said we do love these diapers and will recommend them to others looking for recommendations!... Plain awful!!
21 October 2023
The reviews are here and obviously share a main concern. This product is plain awful and does NOT work as advertised. SHAME ON YOU MARKETING SCAMMERS!! My poor baby has had the worst rash since switching. It becomes inflamed when treatment products are used. Couldn’t figure out why until connecting a few dots. She’s been more difficult to change recently too. It all makes sense now! After being fed up with the quality NOT holding up during the night and finding gel goop everywhere, I’ve chosen to do a little research. What I’m finding is that your simple ingredients contain known carcinogenic material. SHAME ON YOU HUGGIES!! Beyond upset for trying this product and will return to store today.... Show more

I've been buying Overnites for YEARS, and i've gone through many ups and downs with all of the "re-designs" over the years, and what completely baffles me is WHY is it that every time KC makes an "improvement" to this diaper they take one step forward, but then they completely ruin it by making a bunch of other unnecessary changes that set them 2 steps back!Case in point, the latest diaper has unmatched absorbency. Far better than any of the previous generations. But then for SOME strange reason they decided to ditch the silky-smooth outer cover for a much rougher, horribly cheap feeling material that is NOT nice to the touch! Far better than any of the previous generations. But then for SOME strange reason they decided to ditch the silky-smooth outer cover for a much rougher, horribly cheap feeling material that is NOT nice to the touch! It truly reminds me of how the old, economy generics used to feel. But even those brands figured out that Mom's and Dad's don't want their child's diapers to feel hard/stiff, thin, lumpy, and rough to the touch. The previous Mickey version was FAR softer and felt like pure silk compared to the newest diaper's outer covering material.Another serious gripe that I have about this diaper is WHY do they continue to make them narrower and narrower? It seems like every time they "improve" them, we get less and less diaper for our money. They'll claim that the newer versions are "more trim" and "cut to fit your baby's body better" or some other marketing mumbo jumbo, but the bottom line is they keep getting narrower and narrower in the center/crotch area, and ask ANY mother on here if they actually prefer this, and they'll tell you that they'd MUCH rather have their child's diaper actually COVER their LO's little cheeks, instead these slim cut diapers end up bunching up and leaving poor baby exposed, and it obviously affects how well it protects against leaks and wicking as well! When a diaper is so narrow in the crotch, it tends to wad up down the center, and this increases the chances of the leg cuffs getting turned either inwards, or outwards, exposing the diaper's padding to the elastic on their onesie and once that happens half the liquid inside of the diaper ends up wicking up the entire front/back of the onesie or PJ's!Speaking of the elastic leg gathers. That's another feature of the "new and improved" versions that seems to keep getting shorter, thinner, and less "sought" with each re-design.I have some of the OLD Winnie the Pooh Overnites, from 2017 or so, and when I open them up next to the previous Mickey design, and the current Pooh design, it's CLEAR to see that the leg elastics just keep getting shorter and shorter with each redesign, and that's another common-sense feature that ANY parent will gladly tell you that that's one feature they'd rather not compromise (for obvious reasons!) Yet here we are.. KC keeps making them shorter!Like, as if ANY parent ever used this diaper and told KC, "You know what? I just kinda wish that you'd make them a LOT less soft! And while you're at it.. why don't you shorten up the elastic leak guards too! It's not like we're trying to trap anything INSIDE the diaper or anything! Oh and also.. would you please stop making your diapers so wide and supple in the crotch area? It would be GREAT if you could cut them much more narrow in the center, so that me or my child is constantly picking the back of their diaper out of their butt, or tugging at the elastics in the back to get the back of the diaper to cover them up properly, that'd be GREAT! "My point is, no parent EVER wished for these things.. so WHY does KC introduce them into their diapers? My only assumption is COST. But I know one thing, I'm ALREADY paying more, so I can get a more premium diaper. If you keep taking away all of the things that made them better than all the cheaper diapers, then why wouldn't I just buy the cheap diapers in the first place?... Show more

Tab rips on almost every one
7 April 2024
My 3 year old has worn huggies since he was a new born, we've never had a problem, until he started wearing the size 6 nighttime diapers. Not only does he pee through them but the tabs on them rip off almost instantly when we go to put them on. We originally thought he was just peeing more over night and that's why but then we put him back in a size 5 which were a little tight but he didn't pee through for an entire week. We go back to the 6s and pees through them the first night. The second issue with the tabs we thought let's try and be a little more gentle even though it's never happened before but no matter how gentle we are they seem to rip. We had to throw away at least 15 diapers in the past week due to this issue... Show more
